So far so it works as designed. I tested on a throw using a small bag and a portable phone charger. You need to press down while vacuuming the air. It didn’t take very long. The electric pump is compact as it fits in the palm of my hand so a good size for travel.Will update my review after I pack for my upcoming trip to see if it really saves space.

Will never travel without these bags again. They made packing bulky items so much easier. Instead of taking two suitcases on a long international trip we were able to pack everything into a single suitcase. They seal easily and are very durable. Great value for the money and saved space for souvenirs on the return trip. The material was medium weight and held up for multiple uses. Really can help utilize a carryon instead of checked luggage when traveling domestic.

Used these for our trip to Portugal a couple weeks ago, they worked great! Was able to separate & organize clothes by bag. Also kept our dirty clothes isolated from clean ones. Little vacuum device sucked the air out well and reduced volume to fit more in our carryon suitcases. So I could reorganize our clothes throughout the trip easily and decompress them as needed. Just need to have usb hub to plug it in, which our travel adapter did.

These vacuum bags were a lifesaver on my trip to Europe. I had to pack everything in one suitcase, and these helped me fit so much more. The USB pump worked great and was super easy to use, even in hotel rooms. The bags sealed tightly and kept everything compressed and organized. I’ll definitely be using them for all my future travels. Great quality and totally worth it. I HIGHLY recommend these for anyone who travels. I will never again travel without them.

This is the best purchase I have made for traveling this year! There were enough bags that I could share with my sister. The vacuum is compact but very strong. I used the power from my phone and it was perfect. The caps slip on fast enough to not loose any of the suction from the bag! I would buy it again but the bags are reusable!!

These really work! My family had to take a sudden trip to Chicago in the middle of winter and couldn't fit our coats and sweaters in our bags. I bought these, and immediately the vacuum bags shrunk everything down significantly and held that way for the entire flight. One of the coats we were trying to take was truly HUGE and took up an entire carry on suitcase by itself. We put it in one of these bags and got it down to almost 1/5 of it's original size. The little vacuum included isn't the strongest but it gets the job done and takes up very little space in your bag compared to the space it saves.

...the quality of the product is just not there. My first impression was that of the pump as it's the first item you find when opening the box. At first sight I was happy with it because of how small it is. Size is important because I'm taking a two week trip to Europe and I'm planning to take just one back pack--everything has to fit there! I also liked that the it's powered by a USB cord which is super convenient. I plugged it to my battery pack and it worked just fine. Unfortunately, the pump feels flimsy, cheapy--like a toy. The bags also are substandard compared to other stuff available. They are thin, which you would think it's a good thing because they save space in your suitcase. But I felt like I had to be be careful with them so they would not rip. I would definitely not try to put too much stuff inside, especially things we zippers or sharp edges (think some metal buttons and snaps in jeans for example). And then the pump it just doesn't move a whole lot of air. To be fair, the instructions say to squeeze out air by hand and then use the pump to empty residual air in the corners, etc. But the whole point of opting for a pump is so that I don't have to do that manually! If I were to buy the same product, I think I would opt for the manual pump instead of the powered one. I'm not trying to malign the product--as I said it does what's it's supposed to do. But there are other better, less expensive options out there. IMHO...

We just returned from a two week cruise and found that the bags and usb pump were very easy to use and worked well. The compression held with a 49.8 lb suitcase weight and we were easily able to pack all our needs in them. The compaction allowed me to safely pack my cpap case between two bags for protection.
