Works to prevent symptoms, if applied regularly.
Prickly heat is caused by blocked pores, resulting in a build up of bacteria then inflammation, and so on. The principle ingredient ion this spray is denatured alcohol which presumably kills the bacteria, because the product works to prevent the itchy red bobbles from becoming an issue. It doesn't eliminate them though.Initially it is quite cooling, simply as a function of the propellent. It does not, however, instantly stop itching or reduce the 'bobbles'.I have found, over a 2-week holiday in Turkiye, that regular, pre-emptive spraying, works well to control symptoms. The can suggests hourly; I've gone maybe 4-5 times during the day, and sometimes once in the middle of the night if I'm up.I have also found that, in Turkiye at least, every grocery shop sells 'cologne' (in a range of fragrances) which they use for hand sanitising; this also works just as well to prevent prickly heat, probably because it also has an alcohol base.Overall, I've found that this product works to treat the symptoms and prevent them from progressing, but it is not a solution to the root cause.

Reasonable spray
It's a refreshing spray, cool for 30 secs then that's it.Doesn't sting or burn, pleasant fragrance, you can do spritz or continuous mist.Did seem to calm the sun burn heat for a while.

Could be a big benefit but at a price, worth it if it lives up to claims.
As we are not going to be in a position of testing this until September I can only comment on this product in good faith that it does some of what it claims. I do manage my prickly heat better these days, in the past I tried everything, medicated soaps, special 'natural' sun creams, all sorts. Most only delayed the onset of the inevitable. I still get it but limiting my sun time, more shade and shorter times of staying very hot make it less bothersome, if not stopped. So I am hoping this product is the final bit of the jigsaw to really suppress it fully. The spray is cooling and absorbs in well, the scent is *really* strong of Lemon - but then it does list three citrus ingredients!I can't see how it will do what it says, apart from water and alcohol to disperse it, and the citrus scents, it just has aloe vera and rose hip oils. I have been given aloe vera creams by a pharmacist in the past for treating prickly heat and it was only of limited help.So I guess we will see later in the year if this formula really can prevent and treat the condition as claimed.Current price is a not cheap £7.50, it might be worth it for a prickly heat free vacation. If its not highly effective its certainly not.

Easy Solution for Prickly Heat
This review is for the Prickly Heat Treatment Spray - Fights The Cause of Prickly Heat and Heat Rash Made of Natural Ingredients 100ml aerosol can from SolezePerfect for anybody who suffers from Prickly Heat, you know who you are. Simply spray as a mist over your exposed skin areas, arms, legs, neck and with some care over your face and head. The spray is more of a very fine mistThere's an initial citrus fragrance, pretty much like citronella, so you're sure to keep insects away tooThere's no great guidance around how long the application will last, but probably reapply after 3hrs if its particularly sunny. The mist is cooling, refreshing and protective ... the can is 100ml, probably to comply with taking liquids through airports, and is sure to last at least a couple of holidaysAt the current price of £7.50, this is a small price to pay if it keeps you out of trouble on holiday. We've not currently used it on holiday, but will feedback further after the summer if the spray isn't effective

A lifesaver for sun-sensitive skin.
I have very sun-sensitive skin (Polymorphic Light Eruption) so I wear high factor sun screen and seek shade, but sometimes it's hard to keep out of the sun and heat. While prevention is better than cure, this spray supports my sun and heat sensitivity and seems to help prevent heat rash alongside my other measures.Even when I'm not in the sun, it helps to cool me down as I'm not good in the heat. Those who have had prickly heat reactions before will know how awful it can get, so the price tag is worth it in my opinion! I keep topped up with this during the summer months and carry it with me!

Natural soothing spray
It is always difficult to review a product designed to be used in the sun, when your weather is only giving you clouds and rain, however, initial impressions of this spray are good. Anyone who has suffered from itchy skin in the summer knows how irritating this can be, and I was keen to try this product which claims to prevent and treat this skin condition. The aerosol is easy to use, and a spray goes a long way. There is a freshness to it and the spray is certainly cooling when it hits the skin. The natural ingredients such as aloe vera are known to sooth irritation, so I am confident that this will go some way to helping my skin survive during the summer months. The spray is small enough to fit in your travel bag and it is well priced too. I’m happy to recommend and will edit the review should I find issues in the warmer weather.
