Read the Reviews and Decide
Ok - so I read the the reviews that basically said it wobbled. And since I was putting it in a corner I didn't much care - cause how could it wobble that much. No one said shoes were flying off of it! And the truth is it doesn't wobble that much but it does wobble. But in a corner it's fine. Now cause I want it to last a while I hot glued a cut off yard stick to the back and the wobbling is gone (yes I had to use tools to do that). The thing that was surprising was that the wood arrived split at the corners - like oppps we forgot to glue this one together (so I hot glued it back together). And all the shelves were slightly bent or had a kink in them. All in different spots, so it wasn't like the box took a hit and caused them all to bend or kink. Now with shoes on it you don't notice the bends and for the cheap price I am not going to return it as it works and fits the bill. Especially with the hot glued hard stick on the back. And heck for an item that you don't have to have any tools to assemble (oh yup I did you a hand saw for the yard stick and had to heat up the hot glue gun) it works just fine. So I guess my advice is if you want something that's solid and comes perfect spend more money, get out your tools and put it together. If you need cheap and right now then go ahead and spend the less then $20 on this thing.

I was very disappointed..
It was not what I expeced. Picture is deceiving. The product was ordered for my boyfriend's shoes and it was way to light-weight to be used for that. So I'm using it for my summer sandals. I had to order another shoe rack for my boyriend's shoes, one that is more expensive, heavier (made of walnut) , and will hold up to 15 pairs. So, yes, I was very disappointed...

Ok product *** needs help
I purchased this product with the idea to use it for added storage. It is a simple assembly job, however, it wobbles terribly making it a questionable sturdy item. I am now rethinking oops....maybe I should of read all the bad reviews first. Bottom line, it holds up stuff, so far it has not collapsed, but it is definitely not a quality product that will last or is it stable. I am disappointed with the overall quality and would have given it a 2.5 because the footprint is perfect, but alas flawed.

Closet accessory shelf
It was a lot flimsier that I expected. It is okay for light stuff (like what is shown), but don't put anything heavy on it. I was going to use it to hold some light equipment, but it proved unsatisfactory for that purpose.

not sturdy
The items was easy to put together, however it is not very sturdy, use for light items only, There are much better choices for sale on Amazon.Looks nicer in picture than actual

poor quality
This product is poor quality. The pictures and description look just like the Whitmor product which is available on Amazon for about $4 more. However, don't be deceived the quality of this product is not acceptable - the metal is flimsy, the wood frame is very thin and wobbly and the fasteners are plastic (even though they look like metal in the picture - the one I received had white plastic fasteners to join the shelf to the wood). This poor quality construction is not conducive to holding 10-12 pairs of men's shoes and I suspect the shelves will sag and the fasteners will break in time.I returned this product and ordered another Whitmor shelf that looks the same but has far superior quality.

4-Tier Closet needs back support
We like our 4-tier closet shoe shelf but we did have to add 2 small piece of wood (the same size as the wood on the frame) across the back to make it more sturdy. It was very wobbley without the back support. We like the product, it holds 12 pairs of shoes. We may even purchase 1 more but again we will add the extra two pieces of wood across the back to ensure stability.

The spiders in my house build sturdier shelves
First off, I knew I would not be getting an antique-grade exceptionally crafted artisan shelving unit when I ordered this. I just needed something cheap to add order to my bedroom and to upgrade from piling my folded jeans on old shoe boxes and calling it my "dresser". In that respect, it did its job, in that I was able to place my jeans on the shelves and, once it stopped wobbling with the precarious threat of toppling over, it did hold my pants off the ground. That is where the value or effectiveness of this product stopped. The metal "shelves" are made of cheap, thin wire that several times I accidentally broke apart from the frame just during assembly. The connectors that fasten the shelves to the wooden frame are laborious, poorly designed, and kept coming undone. Several times I have walked into my room to find one or two shelves have slipped out of their place. This could be due to the enormous volume of denim I have dedicated this poor little unit to bearing, but I think it's mostly just cheap production. The whole thing is wobbly and cheap looking, and I am considering reverting to my shoe box system. If you cannot possibly afford anything better, and you simply want the semblance of shelves, without really the effective, reliable use of them, then I say go for it. Otherwise, look elsewhere.
