Great for chickens
Great quality mix for chickens, my birds love it and they are laying more eggs now. Best value for the amount.

Great feed, a little expensive
Overall great and as expected. Hens enjoy it and lay frequently. I did need to add some oyster shell as they started to have very thin fragile eggs but all is good now. Some bags do have a good amount of powder in it as well but sometimes I add a little water to make the most of it.

Will be purchasing again!
Very high quality. Even though it's animal food, it even smells amazing! Looks exactly like it does in the photos.

Our girls are happy with their New Country Layer feed
We've been feeding our girls New Country for years now. They are big fans of the actual grains and I appreciate that I can tell what they are eating as opposed to pellets. I like that my hens are eating real food - we used to purchase this locally but haven't been able to find it since our local feed store closed. Being able to have it shipped directly to the house is great. The price is a little higher than what we paid locally, but we understand and don't mind supporting a small business. Great feed that our hens love!

NOTHING BUT DUST
I never leave reviews but feel I must for this expensive organic chicken feed. The bag of food was 75% DUST. I ferment my feed and after fermenting this food, it turned out like mud. My chickens won’t even touch it. No return policy, so I’m stuck with 40 pounds of dust. You can see in the pic that the product is nothing but dust. So disappointed. I don’t have extra money to throw away but my children eat the eggs my chickens produce, so I try to feed them the best food. Waste of $75….DONT BOTHER WITH THIS FOOD.
