It works for me!
I diagnosed myself as gluten intolerant a couple years ago due to every time I ate something I became bloated, uncomfortable and gassy. Then 1 night a few months after having a heavy gluten weekend I became so ill I was asking God to just go ahead and end it! I would rush to the bathroom not knowing which end was gonna explode, along with the cramping & cold sweats, I was sweating profusely but freezing at the same time! So, I removed gluten from my life. And even tho that helped and assured me that my self diagnosis was right, I missed eating the things I loved. I searched for something to block gluten and this product came up and I ordered it, and it WORKS! I was able to eat at restaurants that don’t have a gluten free option, because I do not eat salad, won’t touch it so it’s difficult to find places to eat. Then today at work I brought cupcakes for my coworkers, I ate one around 4:30 w/o taking my Gluten Defense and I now know for sure THIS PRODUCT WORKS!! As I am typing this I am miserable!! The cramping, the bloating the cold sweats are back! I just want to cry I’m in so much pain! Never again will I tempt fait and eat something I know has gluten in it without taking this pill!!

This stuff WORKS!!!!
Hey guys, This stuff works miracles for me!!!!! I don't usually do reviews but, this is a WINNER. I hope this review will help someone who needs relief from gluten sensitivity or allergy. I actually take only 1 before eating gluten food or dairy products. No more gas or bloating. After years of suffering with an unknown sensitivity, I am so happy. Try it. It WORKS!!!

Definitely worth trying!
This is the brand my registered dietician recommended to me, and a friend's gastroenterologist recommend it to her as well for nausea related to gastritis. I have a sensitivity to gluten. This helps me digest gluten most of the time. I have gastroparesis and gastritis so I have constant nausea. Sometimes even with taking this I still get sick, but I really can't blame that on the gluten defense. I know it helps because there are times I'll eat regular pasta having had two of these pills beforehand and I don't get sick. Yay! I'm glad I found this, and will continue using it! I do not eat dairy, so I haven't tried it out on that yet, but for gluten, it is helpful. I put some in an old prescription bottle and keep it in my purse so it's with me wherever I go.

It’s helped me with gluten and dairy sensitivity when needed.
This seems to work better than other things I’ve tried. Helps with glute and dairy both I take two with a meal that might have either it if I’m unsure. No problems

So far so good.
i'm going to give these 5 stars for now. I'm pretty sensitive to anything that has gluten, beers, breads, crackers, almost everything seems to give me a reaction these days. Get crazy inflammation and blood pressure side effects, headaches, gut aches. But you know, some days you have a craving for something and when you do i'd rather break down as much as i can. The more it breaks down to other components the less side effects i'll get is the theory behind these things, and i believe these work to some effect. This morning i ate a bfast burrito, took two gluten defense, so far no adverse affects. Sometimes it hits me later in the day, or the next day, so i'll post again later if i get any of my usual side effects. But as a new product to me, i'll always start off with 5 stars and go from there. Stay tuned.Ok, last night had a half piece of pumpkin cake, with two capsules. So far i'm still doing ok, i dont think it broke down everything as i had a very slight side effect which was my bp was a little higher, but it wasn't the normal high blood pressure reaction, so i think so far it is helping break down some of the gluten. Today, i'm venturing further with a slice of dave's healthy bread, and maybe a hotdog with bun. I dont want to add too much gluten back abruptly as it could trigger a pretty bad reaction, but so far i'm doing ok on these. Will report more as i venture with different gluten sources. So it's been about 3 days, i've totally eaten more gluten then i have in 6 months this weekend. I even tried the glutiny beer that uses probably the same enzymes to break down the gluten in the beer. But so far, no gut ache, no pressure headaches, no dizzyness, no gas, bloat, no stomach ailments, feel ok. My side effects and inflammation doesn't seem to be out of control because i haven't gotten the morning high blood pressure that i normally get from gluten. I still wouldn't recommend celiac disease people to indulge in gluten but it's the occasional times that you have to have that piece of pie. I'm sticking with my gluten free diet, but it was nice to eat a few gluten products over the weekend and not feel deathly sick. Comparing this with Now, swansons, this seems to work slightly better.Update 12/10/16Bought more of this, seems like it does work better then some of the other gluten enyzme products, and not sure if it's because it has other enzymes as well to break down other substances, like sucrase, lactase, cellulase, lipase 1,2, amylase as well as the dpp IV, but haven't had any stomach aches, or emegency bathroom moments lol. I've had a burger last night with fries and i was ok, i'm taking between 2-4 at a time, if a few slices of bread or a burger, i take 2-3, if i have any more gluten with it, a cookie or something. And i'm also lactose intollerant, usually whole milk or rich ice cream/yogurt will usually incur a bathroom visit within hours of ingesting. I ate a noosa (super delicious yogurt) and was fine when i took this enyzme with my meal that had gluten just 30 min earlier. So my verdict is, it will help some of you like me that are gluten intollerant, but if you have full blown celiac then dont' chance it. I lost a lot of weight from probably intestinal damage and weird allergy symptoms from probably a bad leaky gut, i still dont gain weight like i used to, so i think the damage has been done. But as i continue to mainly avoid most gluten containing foods during the weekdays and just enjoy some gluten on the weekend, like this morning i had a slice of bread with peanut butter, which i haven't had in a few years, with 3 capsules, i still feel fine. I think the main thing is if you are getting the autoimmune reactions still after using this, then dont chance it. It's not worth the possible damage to major organs to have that piece of cake.

Helps with ALL the glutens
i kept getting 'glutened' from some unknown source, which turned out to be corn gluten in the forms of glucose syrup and magnesium sterate from another product, and this product came to the rescue again. This is my second purchase and will always keep these on hand when some sneaky gluten gets into my food or supplements. I am celiac and cannot have any of the glutens i.e. wheat, barley, rye, corn, oats or rice and this product has saved me a lot of misery.

Not working for me
I am disappointed in this product. I have been using it for 10 days and have not had any relief from digestive issues. I was hopeful, after reading reviews but it is not working for me

Good gluten defense
I feel like these pills work better than other brands I have tried in the past. They also have a lot of pills in the bottle which is great for the price. They are the best tasting ones I have had as well, all the others have a really bad aftertaste to them, these are great.
