Works with Androids and PC USB / SATA
Works fine with Transcend TS800 (500GB). I was able to make it work with my Note 3 using a SATA to USB cable (besides using it on my PC, of course). The speed, however, is only producing about 350 MB/s read and write. I was expecting more speed, but it is also possible that this is the limitation of the TS800 - I have not tested it on a board with a native M.2 slot. But rather than letting an M.2 go to waste, I was able to use it on other systems that doesn't have an M.2 slot. The kit doesn't have the complete set of screws, though. And the case doesn't have the threads to make it easy to secure the aluminum cover. But important thing is that it works. I've connected this M.2 enclosure to my NAS for more than a month and it hasn't yet failed. Hopefully, it won't ever fail. If I haven't come back to edit this comment, assume that it's still working fine.
