Gift
It was a gift. The chair is nice and woth the money. I wanted a chair with controls on the left or able to switch back and forth. My brother had shoulder surgery on the right side. He has to wake his wife to get out of it. Not your fault, we all read it wrong.

The zipper broke within a few days.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Husband picked this. It's a decent recliner in all. The only complaint is that the zipper seems to be a cheaper one as within a few times of using the chair the zipper came apart. There ended up being missing teeth and then no way to put the pull part back on.

Very nice electric recliner
This chair is as good as local retailers for less money. The quality is excellent. Is soft, plush and supportive as I need. It is very attractive and functions as described. The armrest are low but not uncomfortable. My son put it together in 30 minutes. The electric recline is smooth and quiet. It is space saving not a giant recliner not lacking in comfort at all. I think that it'll work for anyone under 6’0, I’m 5’1 and is perfect. Right now I’m very pleased.

The idea of this chair was AWESOME, The reality WASN'T!
I watched all the videos, from this company, on their Amazon item page. Putting the chair together wasn't a problem as the directions were easy to follow & the videos were extremely helpful. When I took the items out of the package, I had numerous areas where the different pieces were damaged and/or ripped. The worst part was the flap on the rear portion of the chair. The bottom "flap" that is supposed to be attached using velcro is ripped in half (as you can see in the pics). I took pics of all the damaged areas and then put the chair together. After the chair was successfully put together I wrote the company and showed them all the pics and the different areas that were damaged. The first set of pics I sent them I accidently omitted the pic of that flap that was ripped in half. This COMPANY'S THEORY IS THAT THE AREAS THAT WERE DAMAGED OR RIPPED WERE "COSMETIC" AND WOULDN'T BE SEEN SO THATS NOT AN "ISSUE"!! Then realizing I forgot to send the pic of that flap that was ripped in half, I then sent it. They replied by asking if I could sew that back on myself and if so they would give me a refund of $60 for that flap that was ripped. I asked them "what about ALL OF THE OTHER AREAS THAT WERE DAMAGED OR RIPPED?" As I stated earlier, their thinking is that those rips & damages are "cosmetic" & won't be seen so they wouldn't do anything about those. I GUESS BUYING A CHAIR THAT IS SUPPOSED TO BE BRAND NEW DOESN'T REGISTER WITH THEIR THINKING! I took the $60 and then decided I'd wait a few weeks to write a review, because If I had written it then it would've been rejected for not being so nice.As I think about it now I just hope everyone is aware THAT IF YOU PURCHASE A CHAIR OR ANYTHING ELSE FROM THIS COMPANY, BE WARNED THAT IF THERE IS ANY MINOR DAMAGE ON ANY OF THE PARTS THAT ARE CONSIDERED "COSMETIC" BY THEM THEY WON'T REFUND ANY PORTION OF YOUR PURCHASE PRICE. THE IDEA OF PURCHASING A "NEW" ITEM DOESN'T REGISTER WITH THEM. EVERY PART OF MY CHAIR WAS DAMAGED, YES ON THE INSIDE PORTIONS THAT WOULDN'T BE SEEN but this damage makes it seem to me that it is NOT A NEW CHAIR THAT I PURCHASED! If that back flap hadn't ripped I WOULD'VE RECEIVED NO, ABSOLUTELY ZERO, COMPENSATION FOR ANY OF THE DAMAGED AREAS. I do know know that I won't be making another purchase from this company, nor will anyone that I'm able to tell about their "theory" of new vs. used/damaged items!!!!After watching the video's and reading the reviews, I want expecting this chair to seems so...ummm cheap. I was expecting a more "sturdy" chair. I do like the idea of it having an USB port. Also, I wish I would've thought more about the "electric" foot rest. I have NO FAITH that this electric foot rest will last. When it does "go out", stop working, etc. Your chair automatically becomes useless as there is no back-up. So keep that in mind d when making this purchase. Then again, you get what you pay for, or in this case you're supposed to get what you pay for!

This recliner has it all. I love it! And I'm really picky.
What do crazy people do? Buy furniture online? Well, that is exactly what I did. And it was the best idea I had in pretty much forever. The box was messed up, but all the parts were there. It took us about a half hour to put everything in the right place. But it took another half hour to take pictures and send them to all my "doubter" friends who called me crazy for buying a recliner online. In short, I'm really impressed with the quality and even more with the comfort. If you're in the market for a chair you can even sleep in, this one's for you too.

Not bad , but.... 3? 4?
Seems nicely constructed. I like the material, feels like cotton a bit. Not sure if this is a 3 or a 4 rating. Call it 3.5 A month since new:-The back cushion is 3 panels running vertically. The middle one is made bulging "out" further than the outside ones. This is a bit uncomfortable as your back is on only the one firm center panel.-The electric mechanism is smooth and quiet. Unfortunately, when lowered completely down the mechanism raises the chair up further from the floor. I'm only 5'9" and my legs are near dangling off the floor.-The foot cushion is a bit hard, lacks much foam padding.-The arm rests are like super soft pillows, but the understructure is very hard. The armrests sit very low in relation to your body, so they are not useful. It's difficult getting in and out because the armrests are so soft and low, you can't brace your hand on them to get in the chair. They zip and velcro to the chair and roll off a bit to the side under pressure.-the seat cushion is very firm foam. This review probably sounds a bit worse than it actually is, but all those things do add up.

Recliner w/Electric Lift Button
Like this chair, BUT I wasn't thrilled at how mushed it came. Took forever to finally stay in a good shape. Would probably have not kept it, if I had time to make another choice!
