The pins on these bulbs do not match the D3S standard. The pins on the D3S bulb are near the bottom of the plug. On these the pins are near the center. When connecting, the plug only goes on so far and to try to push it all the way causes the plug to split apart because it pushes the center connector towards to top and pushes the outside of the plug apart. D3S is a bulb standard, doesn't change according to vehicle or use. To make a D3S bulb replacement, the pins should be made to match the standard.
