Fantastic big skillet for all sorts of uses
My first impression upon receiving this was that it's huge! Fourteen inches is big--really big! After cooking with it for a while, this pan quickly became my favorite for frying. It distributes heat evenly and works great for all sorts of things. It's very easy to clean, just like all the rest of my Circulon cookware. As with other Circulon pans, the nonstick surface works quite well. You should expect many years of use if treated properly. Don’t get it too hot, as that can damage the coating. (If high quality cooking oil starts smoking, it's too hot.) Never use metal utensils or abrasive chemicals, and always let it cool before washing. Nonstick Circulon pots and pans should be washed by hand so they last a long time. This isn't to suggest Circulon pans are fragile; quite the opposite. They're incredibly durable. If treated well, they could last a lifetime.

Great frying pan
If you don't want to mess with the cast iron fry pans, this is the one to get. Lots of flat surface to brown or braise meat to give it some color. The first thing I made was spaghetti sauce and there was plenty of room to cook the ground beef, sautee the onions & mushrooms before transferring it all to the crock pot where it simmered all day. Very easy to clean. Most difficult thing is a place to put it! Very large which is exactly what I wanted.

The right choice for me!
At first I was disappointed that this pan was so lightweight but the truth is, if a pan this size were any heavier, I wouldn't be able to handle the weight....a 14 inch pan is not a small pan to lift! Helper handle or not! I bought this pan almost exclusively for breakfast items like pancakes or French toast. I have to say, it's perfect for that! I love this pan and after a lot of investigating, I'm so glad I chose this one!

This non-stick skillet sticks.
It would appear that we have to buy a new non-stick pan around once a year (or sooner). This model has turned out to be no different than past models we have tried. It is around 6 months old, and has started sticking VERY BADLY. We have tried the water & vinegar cleaning, brought to a boil, etc., but to no avail. Now, the small rings within the skillet seem to be rusting, and since it is supposed to be a "non-stick" skillet, we have refrained from applying steel wool to clean it, as that would appear to be counter-productive. Looks like we are stuck with it, as we normally try and make these skillets last at LEAST a year at a time.

Pan was actually like the picture and like pan
I was so happy to find this pan. I had been looking for this 14 inch Circulon pan for quite a while, as the one I have had for 20 years finally had to be retired.

Too Thin
The bottom of this pan is very thin and warps even under low/med heat causing uneven heating. I love Circulon non stick but you should only buy the more expensive lines of Circulon. The Circulon pans I have already owned are way heavier and twice as thick on the bottom as this pan. For $20 more Circulon offers a similar pan of the same size. I see that the handle is nicer on the more expensive pan but hopefully the bottom is thicker too.
