This fit my needs like a glove. This unit is easy to use, I have yet to have to read the online manual to do or adjust anything. It allows me to map and mark all of the spots that I pick up fish while trolling. Once you have made a few passes and have a map made up, you can fallow the same route along edges and ledges and it is accurate to a few feet. This is a huge advantage in lake trout fishing. You can skirt underwater structure, and get your lure in the "Strike Zone" consistently. I wish I had bought this years ago. The only draw back is that it will not keep a depth reading at speeds above 15 MPH, which would be great for mapping. But is steady, rock solid at trolling speeds.

This is a really good budget set up worth it

Delivered in a non secured(not sealed) original box but everything was in the package and correctly described. Haven’t had time to mount and try unit so that’s why I rated 4 star

Great locator

I’m a proud user of garmin fishfinder/gps and I’ve owned and used many of them. I purchased this one because I wanted gps mapping and contouring. The description said that it did all that I wanted but when I installed and used it there was no gps mapping or contouring. All I got was a yellow screen with a boat and tracks. I tried going through all the functions thinking it might needed to be set up but there was nothing that I did fixed the problem. This is the first time I’m disappointed with garmin. They should leave out gps mapping and contouring in the description because it doesn’t have any.
