Zevia Zero Calorie Soda, Mountain Zevia, 12 Ounce Cans (Pack of 24)

Does not taste like mountain anything. Much closer to a 7-up or sprite. A great lemon lime flavor and will buy again.

As of June 2026 they redid their product. Redid the logo and changed the formula. It was a good call. The old Zevia was okay. I'll be honest, I wouldn't have drank it if it wasn't "healthy" for me (or at least healthier than Diet Mountain Dew). The new formula is actually pretty tasty. If I have my choice between it and a DMD, it's a coin toss.

I love this product and get it on subscribe and save now that Zevia doesn't want to ship it themselves off of their website. Never had a problem from the manufacturer but Amazon's packaging is not appropriate (shrink wrapped case on a cardboard flat is put into a polymer bag) so usually the cans are dented, sometimes they're empty, sometimes cans are missing (presumably because they leaked out and needed a new shipping package) and every once in a while they are "returned" through no action of my own. The delivery experience for this sort of product is miserable but the product itself is wonderful.

I switched from aspartame-based diet soda to Zevia (Mountain Zevia and Dr. Zevia, for the caffeine) in 2015, so 10+ years of being a daily drinker. When they recently changed the can design, they also changed the formula. If they claim they didn't, don't believe it. The Mountain Zevia was never the most delicious thing ever, somewhat of an acquired taste but worth it for the caffeine. Now it is basically undrinkable - they put a lime on the can graphics and now it tastes like the smell of some kind of industrial cleaner. Truly awful. The Dr. Zevia flavor is weaker and less pleasant as well, but not nearly as drastically as the Mtn Zevia. SO BUMMED!!!

I haven't tried all the Zevia flavors yet but I'm working my way through the line up to see which I like best. This Mountain Zevia is one of the best Zevia flavors I've tried. It seems to have less stevia after taste than some of the other varieties I've tried such as the cola flavors. It's good enough that I would rate it equal to my former favorite Ginger Root Beer flavor. My favorite thing about Zevia sodas is that they are a great choice for someone avoiding sugar due to type 2 diabetes or who are just watching their weight. Someone who is looking for something that tastes exactly like Mountain Dew will be a little disappointed in Mountain Zevia. It's a similar flavor but they didn't nail it exactly. It's a bit more citrusy like Mello Yellow or halfway between Mountain Dew and Sprite. That was ok with me though as I prefer Mellow Yellow or Sprite over Mountain Dew anyway. It is, however, a very good Zevia variety. This is one of the four Zevia sodas that contain caffeine. It's reported to have 55mg per 12 oz serving which is the highest of the bunch and on par with actual Mountain Dew. That is a plus for me since I would often get a Pepsi, Dr Pepper, or Mountain Dew when I wanted a caffeine "pick me up". Like the other Zevia sodas this is clear and has no color. I really like this Mountain Zevia and I'm glad I took a chance on buying the whole 24 can case of it. That's the only way I could get it at a reasonable cost right now. The prices of Zevia soda really fluctuates a lot and some flavors frequently are temporarily sold out. I have a 12 flavor variety pack on order and can't wait to try the rest of the flavors I haven't yet had the opportunity to test.
