Even though this is priced higher than other trucks of this kind, it ships with a battery that only lasts about 20 - 25 minutes. Then it takes about 6 hours to charge with a USB 'C" input. And I have a very powerful USB C charger. If a charger like those that comes with a phone is used, charge times will probably be longer. My son is just starting to have fun when the battery quits and he can forget about a quick turn around charge time. So after about 25 minutes of use the fun is over for that day. To upgrade to a "Lipoly" battery we need a different charger also which is almost 3/4 of the cost of the original truck. I consider this item a ripoff.

My son really liked the truck, (he opened it for Christmas) but only got to drive it for 10 minutes before it started locking up..if you tried to go into reverse that was it, it wouldn't go backward or forward. I called the company and explained what it was doing, they sent a new motor and it still didn't work, so I had to ship it back to the company for them to fix whatever is wrong with it. It's been a week since I shipped it, just waiting for it to return..hopefully fixed, $300 is alot of money for 10 minutes of playing
