Q: Is this plant safe for cats?

Like many things sold by this shop, these plants are indeed toxic for pets.

Q: How often should I water this and how much water?

About a 1/2 a cup to 1 cup every 2-4 weeks should be all it needs. Make sure the soil is nice and dried out between waterings.

Q: Is this shipped with a heat pack?

No, it’s not. However, nurseries don’t generally ship to locations when they are likely to have extreme temperatures. As far as a snake plant is concerned, I can’t imagine it dying on its way to AK! They are sturdy plants.

Q: What "height" do the plants usually grow? At maturity do they require thining? If kept in small pot can they achieve "Bonzi" status?

Depends on whether you grow it inside or outside, if inside and you want to keep it on the small side don’t repot because the snake likes to be in tight quarters. Overtime it can grow up to 3’ so you can prune it back, the plant grows quite slow though. Usually the snake comes in a 3” to 4” size and it might be @6” tall, so bonsai don’t think so.
