This is a decent rack. The smart items are the straps and hooks to hold bikes in place. However, it’s heavy and doesn’t fold up for storage. All in all, solid product that can carry two bikes (to include heavy E-Bike with big tires) and is pretty solid once tightened down.

Towed our bikes for over 200 miles with no issues. I didn't handle any of the hardware stuff. My husband and son did that. They did not complain a single time about any of it and they are bike people. My husband didn't ask me to return it. He put it away carefully and made a storage place for it in the basement. That leads me to believe it was a sound investment. It folds easily, it was easy to assemble, bikes stayed locked in place.

Satisfied with this product. Received quickly. Took less than 30 minutes to assemble. Ran into an issue with the keys to the lock not working. However, after contacting the seller a replacement lock was in the mail asap. Communication with seller was quick and friendly. Highly recommend this bike rack.

Everything about this rack is horrible. All locks do not work. Super cheap and poor quality. Paint was chipped, reflector was cracked. Pulling the arms down to the bike was not easy. Keys bent when trying to lock them. Cannot get the locks to work. It is getting returned immediately. Do not buy.

It's inexpensive and it shows. Welds already showing rust. The plastic knobs to tighten are at least half split already. (2 of them split on day 1). One of the Velcro straps already ripped. I don't have much experience with bike racks but this one seems not idiot proof. So idiots beware. That said, I have transported my 70+lb ebike on it a few times and it didn't drop it on the highway or anything so that's something I guess... Also rack folds so that you can open your rear hatch on an SUV for example without rack being in the way. So that's nice too. I'd guess there are mock better designed and built racks out there. Probably cost twice as much tho...

Fit and finish exceeded my expectations. Product was well packaged and all parts but one were present. It is missing the endcap and red reflector shown in on the product page. While the reflector and end cap omission does not affect my overall positive review, it does not bode well for the company that this was not included. I would recommend this product on the merits of easy assembly, fit and finish. NOTE: Instruction booklet will require you to figure a few things out as it is not very intuitive.

It's great, modified a few things to get it closer to the tailgate. It doesn't open though. I don't use the outside setup so my bike is closer to the tailgate. Solid and no vibration anywhere, no bouncing.

Easy to assemble very sturdy

Only tried it once. Have 2 e-bikes. The hold down brackets were loose. So a bit scary, wouldn’t recommend for a long trip!

This platformed bike rack is good based on the weight capacity being maxed out at 180lbs, therefore instilling confidence and peace of mind on the road with your bikes placed on them. It’s sturdy, feels heavy duty and stable. It will take a bit of adjusting and possibly rearranging the wheel platforms and frame holders to get the bikes properly strapped in. Depending on the bikes, the larger one should be placed closer to the vehicle. Happy with the purchase.
