You weave the bottom of the pocket square in/out of the 3 holes and then the fabric is held in place.If you compare this pocket square to the spring-loaded pocket square holder, the spring-loaded version does a better job of holding fabric. But the spring-loaded models are often a little short so they can fall down into the pocket so far that you can't see the pocket square any more.This pocket square holder, is a little taller, meaning that it doesn't slip down so far into the pocket that the pocket square disappears.
