Safe-T-Gard Jock Strap Athletic Supporter - Black

With Underarmour-style compression shorts having largely supplanted jockstraps as athletic supporters, jockstraps have become more about personal preference than protection. Safe-T-Gard makes pretty much the most basic ones, but they fit well (on most of us) and are very comfortable.Those who aren't familiar with jockstraps should be aware that putting them in the dryer is a bad idea. Your strap will quickly start to fray and the pouch will pill and collect lint. Just hang them up out of the washer and they'll be dry in a few hours. Elastic dries quickly, and there isn't much to the non-elastic part of it by design.Buyers should also be aware that while these were once made in America, in the last few years we've been getting Chinese ones, and the pictures on this item have not been updated to reflect that. They do seem a little more cheaply made than they used to, but maybe that's just because we're used to Chinese products being more cheaply made than American ones. It hasn't stopped me buying them, that's for sure.If you've been buying jockstraps for a while, you know these are great. If you're curious about them, this is a nearly ideal first experience. Highly recommended.

I don't want to say that particularly enjoy wearing this. I bought this for after my vasectomy (which i wouldnt recommend using this product for that). My doctor wasnt very specific on what to buy. Anywho, The product itself was of good quality and had the circumstances been different, may have been comfortable. The material that cups your package was getting caught on my stitches. Needless to say i only wore this for 1 day.

I bought these for athletic use. for that purpose they are useless. The front should be a pouch to hold "the boys". But it is not a pouch to any degree...mostly flat. So, no support. OK for bedroom stimulation and frolic but not for active use.

The fit was the right waist size, but the pouch was worthless. There is no pouch for your junk. The expected pouch is just a flat piece of material. No pouch. I kept falling out when I exercised. After washing it once, the elastic material lost all its elasticity. Horrible product.

I had purchased one of these several months ago, and I really liked it. I just bought two more, and I hate them. Even though they are the same size as the old one, then don't fit right. It's not that they are too big or too small, it's just "off." Something is different about how/where the leg straps are sewn to the bottom of the pouch. It's uncomfortable, and as many times as I've tried to adjust it, it never feels right.

Horrible. Yes, it's a basic jock and nowhere near a fashion jock. Waist band fit ok, leg straps too big and the cup has no form. In a workout situation, your private parts would definitely not be secure. I did order an extra large, but when I took it out of the package, this thing was HUGE! Tried it on, took it off and buried it in the drawer. I should have thrown it away or returned it. Just not worth it.

I have owned many of jock straps. Especially Safe-T-Gard branded. This one came with a loose strap and does not appear to be the same quality as in previous purchases. Great for a cheap throw away pair or for giving away to boys.

Love them, comforter and the support is exceeded my expectations.
