Awesome product!!! The guy that invented this stuff deserves a medal of some sort. The product arrived in less than a week, it's easy to trim, fit perfectly over the vent that terrorized my scalp/well-being in my new office, and has 8 smaller magnets to boot? Man, I'm grateful that something like this exists. I had to search for it on the job with super cold fingers. By the time I successfully typed 'AC Vent Cover' on Amazon, I had already tried 3-4 times because my fingers were so cold and numb! LOL! It's great that the listing recommends for potential purchasers to test their vent to make sure it's metal. I did so, mine was magnetic, I pressed the purchase button with my cold pointer/ordering finger ASAP! Of course, as always, I made my judgement based on reviews I looked at. I always make sure to look at the 1-star reviews first to see what their gripe was, then I review the 2-stars if necessary. This things is well worth it... functionality, price, quantity, everything. TWO of the large magnets? I was super excited about that. So, after trying multiple positions for the large magnet, I drew a line where it needed to be cut (cut VERY EASILY) and stuck it on the vent. It fell once, but it was due to my own negligence while positioning it. I could only laugh because I remember reading a review where someone states it fell on their head (or a loved ones head) and that it's a dangerous product, or an accident waiting to happen. Not so. The larger magnet stays; the smaller magnets solidifies it's staying. I only used 3 of the smaller magnets. I would've attached an image, but I'm not at work right now. =} Either way, I have a large wall vent and the air comes straight down at a 45 degree angle... right on my dome. And that air is super forceful! I mean it! One would think there's an in-door blizzard afoot. So, I cut the large magnet and covered the venting to the far left (a little less than half of the vent), and used three smaller magnets at 6 o'clock, 9 o'clock and 12 o'clock. Even without the smaller magnets, it stays! But the air was blowing so hard, it came loose from my hands a few times. After all the tests were completed, its not even come close to loosening or falling. To top it all off [literally ;)], I have one full vent cover+>1/2 remaining along with 5 magnets. Super! I'm thrilled with this product, and I believe you will be as well. **EDITS MADE** I'VE NOW ADDED TWO PICTURES!!! YAAAAY!!!! =D

Love this product so much I ordered a second to get the other vents. Originally purchased for the office that was too cold in the summer as all the AC pumped into that room, the addition of the extra strong magnets made this one hold up to the force and make the rest of the house cooler. Just make sure your vents are magnetic (test a fridge magnet before purchasing). The flexible material is lightly magnetic as well, but when the AC is going it would blow free if a proper seal is created. Hence the great addition of the stronger magnets. The material can be cut with scissors allowing you to cut notches for screw and diversion levers, and there is enough in this for 2 vents.

So the actual covers, meh. But the magnets that come with it, AWESOME! They do the trick with keeping the cover on a vent that’s on the ceiling. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because of the price, still very worth it as there is nothing else that works, so it was nice to have but it would be even more worth it, if I could buy just the magnets separate. Just a bit over priced in my opinion.

We love this product. The air conditioning in our office is so hard to regulate. On one end of the building our office personnel are always complaining about being hot, and on the other end of the building our office personnel are always complaining that they are freezing. We purchased covers from Walmart last year and as soon as the air conditioning kicked on they fell off the vents. We ended up having to secure them with tape that looked very tacky in a business office. The magnetization of these covers themselves are very secure and really didn't necessarily need additional magnets, but they for sure were extra secure once we added the additional magnets. Several of these vents are right over office personnel desks, so knowing that they will not blow off and land on someone's head is a complete bonus. I would highly recommend this product.

Great product. These are installed on all my upstairs ceiling vents. Easy to cut and customize to your vent sizes. I've always had a cold downstairs and hot upstairs. My Mom and Dad complained a fews times when they came to visit. I closed the upstairs vents and they complained again the vents sounded like a jet engines all night. My 1 years daughter was having coughing fits all night from the hot dry air blowing into her room (even with the vents closed and a humidifyer running full blast). Now the rooms are quiet as a mouse and my house is more evenly heated. Thank you Adam for seeing a need, taking action, and making a great product. Stop looking folks. Buy these.

These magnets are not strong enough and could not hold or resist against the strong air coming out of the AC vents! They fell off right away! Couldn't serve any purpose. I tried many DIY ways. Finally I had to open vents and used thick aluminum foil and bubble cardboard from inside. So these products were useless in my case. Unless you want to cover a vent while AC is off, it may work, but once AC is on and blowing , this product does not work, period. Hope they produce a very strong magnet which most likely does not exist for now!

Right, so the vent cover magnet is not strong. It doesn’t stick to my fridge door, in other words, with the other magnets that are on the fridge. However, the accompanying magnets ARE very strong and hold the cover on nicely. The cover is very easy to cut to size and around the vent toggle without dulling my utility scissors. Not worth the price, unfortunately.

Pretty strong vent cover for ceiling vents. Comes with 8 magnets and 2 long sheets. I trimmed down the one I used because it was too long. We live in 2 story home so upstairs gets way too hot and downstairs is just right. I bought this to solve that problem and sure enough it works. I woke up this morning and didn’t want to get out of bed because it was cold! The air does escape a little bit but could easily be fixed with the extra magnets. It works just fine for me.
