I almost didn’t buy this phone because of some reviews claiming it arrived locked. I’m extremely glad I went ahead with the purchase — this was one of the best Amazon Renewed experiences I’ve had. First, the phone itself is excellent quality. It looks brand new, not refurbished. No scratches, no signs of wear, strong battery life, and smooth performance right out of the box. Now, about the unlocking complaints — especially important to clarify: This phone was sent to Asia, and it was still very easily unlocked by simply following the clear directions included in the box. The paperwork inside explicitly states that you do not need to pay extra to unlock the phone and that if the device arrives locked, you should contact the company directly. I did exactly that. Their customer service was beyond helpful — quick response, simple instructions, and the phone was unlocked very fast with zero hassle. The process was straightforward and worked exactly as promised, even for international use. After going through this myself, it’s clear that many of the negative reviews come from people who: • Didn’t read the papers included in the box • Didn’t contact the seller • Or assumed the phone was permanently locked without following the provided steps If you follow the directions they give you, the process is quick, easy, and stress-free. This company clearly stands behind their product. The phone quality is outstanding, and their customer service is truly top-tier — especially impressive given that this was handled across regions. I highly recommend this seller. Excellent device, excellent support, and a smooth experience from start to finish. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Update- 6 months later, the phone had been working ok until last week when it stopped connecting to the network. After countless hours on the phone with TMobil tech support over the last few days, and getting the runaround from them, it turns out that the previous owner did not pay for the phone and it is now locked due to non-payment. Because the phone was not purchased directly from the carrier, there is nothing that can be done but they are actually suggesting I personally contact the previous owner and ask them to pretty-please submit a payment for the balance so the phone can be unlocked... Bottom line- BUYER BEWARE!!! I am still waiting to hear back from the seller and have already contacted Amazon as well. This is a scam. The seller should do a better job about making sure they are not selling a product that is likely stolen. Great phone for the money, especially for those not worried about having the latest version at $1000 plus. The phone came in a generic brown box with a charging cable and looks very close to new. It charges correctly and keeps a good charge with moderate use. Everything appears to function correctly and after a couple of months of use, I've had zero issues. I would absolutely recommend this, very satisfied with the purchase.

The renewed Galaxy S25 I received has been flawless in terms of appearance, not even a small scratch or blemish on the frame, let alone the screen. Transfering data was a breeze as usual, the phone is very quick and, most importantly, its cell radio is fully reliable and has perfect reception even at low signal strength, unlike the one in my previous Samsung phone (S23). Audio and camera image quality are just like new, no problems with either so far. Charging is reliable and quick as expected, both wired and wireless, and the phone doesn't heat up too much while charging: the car that often paused wireless charging on my previous phone due to excessive heat, is much happier with this unit. Finally, battery life is excellent, there doesn't seem to be any degradation compared to new. All in all, my initial impressions after a week or so are 100% positive, this is a well engineered and carefully owned unit that I hope will last forever.

It had a screen protector film on it that left a weird feature that doesn't seem to wash off. I had to buy another screen protector to cover that up. There is also a bit of cosmetic damage in the back where the previous owners case rubbed against the phone or something. Originally bought a transparent case because I like the silver, but bought an opaque case to hide the imperfection. Overall, the phone is great and switching from my old Samsung was super easy! Battery life is great and the phone is very responsive. I mainly bought it for the 7 years of security updates so haven't explored many new features (and don't really care to).

I purchased a Samsung S25 from YY Wireless through Amazon on December 7, 2025, as a Christmas gift for my wife. The phone arrived promptly and was in excellent condition. Activation at T-Mobile on January 8, 2026, went without a hitch. My wife used the phone with zero issues for 7 months until August 7, 2026, when it suddenly would no longer connect to the cellular network while she was traveling. T-Mobile informed us the phone's IMEI was still registered to a different account that had been making installment payments. That account stopped paying, so T-Mobile blocked the device for non-payment on that other account. Working with T-Mobile and YY Wireless, we learned this is tracked through the IMEI number. YY Wireless showed they had checked the IMEI prior to selling it to me and it was completely clear of any encumbrances at that time. This was a situation completely beyond their control. What impressed me is how YY Wireless handled it. They were quick to identify the problem, took full responsibility for the customer experience, and immediately provided clear instructions and a prepaid return label for a full refund. This was 8 months after purchase, well beyond any normal return window. They followed through with every single action they said they would do, without delay or excuses. Things can go wrong with used phones, especially with carrier financing issues that don't show up at first. What defines a company is how they handle it. YY Wireless does what is best for the customer. I would buy from them again with complete confidence and this experience reflects very well on Amazon as a marketplace for sellers like them.

I purchased a what was advertised as an UNLOCKED Samsung Galaxy S25 in September 2025. The phone worked fine for a few months and then became locked after a software update in January 2026, just outside of the refund window. I was able to rollback the update to a previous version so that I could use the phone with a SIM card again, but after waiting over a month to update my phone I attempted to do another software update. That time, the update changed the Bit number of my phone and I was no longer able to rollback the update to a compatible older version. Realizing that my phone is useless, I reached out to the seller. They took days to actually offer a solution, and then the solution they recommended was pointless because my phone is locked in a way that is preventing me from viewing the IMEI number. I have now requested a refund, as Re-Cell should have sent me a fully UNLOCKED phone and they did not do that, but I have received the same response three times in a row now: "Thank you for reaching out. At this time, this is our recommended course of action. We appreciate your understanding regarding the out-of-warranty item." I will now be issuing a chargeback so that I can get my money returned and buy a phone that is not completely worthless.

En general funciona bien, percibo una gran diferencia con respecto a mi anterior teléfono, es mas rápido y practicamente no se bloquea. Le veo un problema, se calienta.

Me llego de un color diferente al que pedí. Funciona bien hasta ahora, me parece que se calienta un poco al cargarlo. Es pequeño pero tiene bonito diseño y es rápido. Aún estoy actualizando mis aplicaciones
