I bought this for a baby shower. It's cute, and I think the baby will really like it. As it will surely be the same size as her, haha. For $15 it's a real good value. More like a preemie, than newborn.

I got this doll for my niece, so I consider this doll my "great-niece". My niece is mixed and has brown eyes, and I wanted a doll that reflected that. She just turned 1, so the doll was the perfect size with a soft body that will allow her to sleep with her if she wants to. I think it is great that there are black dolls out there. I think this doll is great, but I think you need a third doll with darker skin. It is important to have dolls that reflect the diversity of the population, which is most obvious in skin tone.

Got this for my 1 year old as a first birthday first doll present. I’m glad I held off on getting one of the usual rag doll types as a first doll, because she loves this one. I love it because it’s a Cabbage Patch Doll and is a bit nostalgic for me. I also love that my baby actively plays with and explores this doll. In the pic, she is playing with the doll’s nose, right after playing with my nose. So there’s an unexpected educational benefit. She kisses and hugs the doll all the time. She’s a toddler, so her kisses are wet. Glad the doll’s head is plastic and easy to clean. It’s also adorable to see her hold the doll’s hand. She still smells good and all her stitching has endured my daughter’s love and toddler abuse. This doll is a winner.
