Some internet reviews from gaming websites didn't paint a favourable picture, but loving the 2012 film, I decided to go ahead and buy it, and then write a review to aid other buyers! The storyline follows the 2012 movie, so if you haven't seen the movie, beware - the game contains spoliers! Basically, you are spiderman and you travel across the city to prevent a viral outbreak. The graphics aren't great: nowhere near as good as Resident Evil Revelations (3DS) but pretty similar to games like Nintendogs. The controls are simple to use, and combat is also pretty simple. One of the best features of this game is "Web Rushing" which can enable stealth attacks, or rush spiderman towards an enemy, along with the web sling which can be used to move through a floor quickly. The only bad thing about this game is that it's a bit short! I finished it on a 4 hour plane ride to Turkey! But it is definitely worth a buy - I couldn't put it down for the four hours! :-) Review: Amazing spiderman - My seven year old son still enjoys playing this game, but how long do 'superheros' actually last for, not a lifetime!
