I was looking for a camera to keep in the house so I could check in on my cat while I’m away, and this one has been perfect. Setup was incredibly easy—honestly, I was surprised by how quick and straightforward it was. The app and software are very user-friendly, even if you’re not super tech-savvy.The picture quality is excellent—clear, sharp, and reliable both during the day and at night. One of my favorite features is the ability to remotely tilt the camera up, down, and side to side, so I can follow my cat around the room if she moves. It gives me real peace of mind knowing I can check on her anytime. I ended up buying four more!Overall, this camera has exceeded my expectations. Great value, excellent functionality, and perfect for pet parents or anyone who wants to keep an eye on things at home.

This exceeded my expectations. Setup was fast and easy through the Tapo app, and it connected to tplink app without a hitch. The video quality is impressively clear, both during the day and at night. I love the ability to pan and tilt remotely, and the motion tracking works well (but i don't use it that often). The privacy mode is a thoughtful touch for added peace of mind. Great for monitoring pets or keeping an eye on your home while away. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a smart, reliable indoor camera at a great price.

A great security camera. Some of the standout features: super easy setup. Low lag and small size, easy to use and a feature I wasn’t even aware it had, when it detects movement it can track the subject automatically! It also has a private mode that you can automate when you arrive home and disable when you leave using a geofence. This physically positions the camera lens straight down that shows the folks in the room it’s disabled. Leave the house and it’s back up and patrolling. Very cool tech with high res 4k. Excellent value for the money!

The Tapo C225 camera is by far the best camera I’ve ever purchased—simple, hassle-free, and incredibly easy to install. The camera receives regular updates, and if you prefer to work exclusively within the Apple ecosystem, it supports facial recognition, live streaming, and iCloud recording through HomeKit.If you’re looking for a camera with full native HomeKit support at a great price, this is the best option out there. It also integrates perfectly with Alexa, Google Assistant, and Home Assistant.I originally bought it just to test it out, but it completely exceeded my expectations. Tapo delivers great quality at an amazing price. I truly hope they release more models like this with native HomeKit compatibility.

I bought two of these and overall, I'm pretty satisfied. My only complaint so far is the clicking sound it makes when switching between day and night mode—it’s noticeable enough to make you stop and wonder what the noise is. They offer a 30-day free trial of their cloud service, but after that, you have the option to either subscribe (which isn't too expensive) or use a memory card. A 32GB or 64GB card will continuously overwrite old footage, which can save you from paying a monthly fee. Camera quality is quite good and it has a noticeable lag but nothing to severe and the night vision is pretty decent.

Just buy it.. great Tapo app to operate this camera, hung it upside down on the ceiling using the old smoke detector mount, replaced the little a/c adapter with a 12vdc module designed for LED power, hidden in the mount for that smoke detector and used the tapo app, it allows you to invert the video so it's not upside down when you play it back, The Tapo app has all the features you need, can use VLC to view these cameras on a PC or laptop. Everything works fine, you can hear the audio and actually record live streaming video via VLC also. Has a patrol feature, night view, pan & tilt, Micro SD CARD storage, HD video, just buy it..
