For this battery what would you recommend type of a charger? It two terminals that need "alligator" clips?

The smallest lead acid battery charger that you can find will be sufficient. If you are mechanical, you can use a old 12 volt DC wall wart that was supplied to you or you can use a small Solar charger rated at 2 watt that will do the job. I have several solar panels that I have bought from Amazon that are 12 volt DC that I to charge batteries for different applications. Good luck

Do you sell a charger for this battery as well?

No I do not. I buy my solar charger at Amazon. I found out more about the charger and know how to change them from Lead Acid to Lipo metal phospate.

Can these be placed on there side?

Due to this being a Gel type battery, there should not be any problems with it being used in any position or orientation. When I charge this battery, I charge it in the upright position, but I do not think that it should matter at all. I do use this battery in a situation that it is in various positions other than upright with no problems.

Perfect replacement for generator starting battery

Perfect replacement for a Genkins 3800w inverter generator. I also used an SAE splitter to be able to easily keep on a trickle-charger.

Went to batteries plus around the corner. The woman didn't have any replacements that would fit but she measured the old one and txted me a link to this one after measuring it with veneer calipers. It fit perfectly and my wife's Christmas present from 5 years ago works great again.

Not testing anywhere near rated capacity

I ordered these as replacements for stairlift batteries. I have a $400 ACT tester and these do not test at rated capacity out of the box. They are marked 2.6aH yet the best I can get is 1.7 out of them, just at the borderline of replacement value. They are also lighter weight than the OEM PBQ batteries that come in the lifts, so I'm assuming they cut corners and as a result, have decreased capacity. Also, some of them are scratched up, leading me to believe they may be used. I would not recommend these. Beware you can't return these once delivered.
