Nortorque - Less Refined Than The Previous TTi Series; But Looks Solid
Norbar Nortorque 200, 40-200 Nm torque wrench - This comes from Amazon UK Store, shipped to the US, and delivered by DHL. It survived the very loud thump at my door step from the driver. Just a crumpled paper wrap with it in the box. Good thing the TW comes in its own plastic protective case. Included were a Nortorque series basic instruction flyer and a serial number-matching Declaration of Conformance with 5 measurements at 40, 120, and 200 Nm (dated five months earlier, and test values' largest deviation not worse than 1.5% from target, which is excellent) . The head ratchets, and the 1/2-inch drive bit can be pushed from on side of the head to the other. The handle is plastic. Torque adjustment by turning the bottom ribbed collar (the action slides; no click detents like the TTi series has). The setting is locked by in/out pull of the bottom knob through which is a wire hang loop. Amazon offered this at a good price, and I wanted try it. It looks good and solid to me.
