Ocean Blue AquaLight Floating Pool Light, Blue

Purchased one and had to send back as it quit working after we used it once. There was something wrong with the on/off knob. Decided to give another one a try, as I know technical issues can happen to any product once in a while. Got the other one and have used it twice. It has been working fine so far. I take it out of the pool and dry it off before taking it back into the house. I keep it charged up, too. Hopefully, it will last us a long time. It provides a nice light for our pool at night (24 ft/above ground). Probably would need 2 if pool is any larger. It is a bit pricey, too, but I couldn't find a lot of pool lights to choose from. Amazon was great at sending me another one for exchange and did refund my return costs.

The Ocean Blue Nova Floating Pool Light is extremely effective in lighting our oversized pool with ease - no plus, cords, or installation - just drop in the pool and let it float! We were very surprised at how much it actually lit the pool up, and with its constant floating motion, it presents a nice entertaining underwater effect. Highly recommended for those who want to save expenses and still have a beautifully-lit pool at night.

I was excited to get a light for my 27' above ground pool and the reviews on this convinced me to purchase it. Once it arrived, I waited 24 hours to ensure a full charge so I could wow and amaze my friends with pool lighting. Well, it was very underwhelming. This thing would not illuminate even one quarter of the pool. Additionally, after being in the pool for two days, it sunk to the bottom. Thank goodness for Amazon's return policy (which is why I have purchased from Amazon 42 times to date)which is no hassle. Don't waste your money on this thing. It might be fine for a 10' pool, but beware of the "anchor effect".

I am editing my review because I was so upset when I reviewed it the first time, it was more of a rant than a review. This filled up with water after 2 uses with no rough play or any damage. Watch the return policy. I missed the window by a week, and after spending 90 dollars on this, you can imagine that I was a little upset. I would have loved it if it lasted for at least a season of use. The light was dim, but pretty, and it did enough to illuminate the bottom of the pool so you could be safe swimming in the dark.

We bought this light for our 18 x 36 inground pool because it said it would light up a pool that large. It only lights up half of the pool. It would be nice for a smaller round pool with no deep end.

I purchased this light NOT EXPECTING it to broadcast across my 15 inch above ground round. If I had wanted more extensive Iighting I would have invested in something with more power. This little light is exactly what I wanted: it illuminates the space around it within a 2 foot radius. It bobs around the pool and rolls with the waves my boys make when they jump in. One even completely submersed it and it splashed right back up without any issue. Charging it is no different than charging your phone. Very glad that I got it.

Two of these will probably work best for most in-ground pools, but one can get the job done if you just want to see where you're swimming at night. The light creates a nice glow and allows you to see most of the pool even if you're at the dim end. But again, if you want end-to-end illumination, buying two might be better.
