How many modules does this unit come with?

When I set the timer for 4 stations, do I set start time for only station #1 and based on the run time the next 3 will come on?

Yes - each start time you set will run through every stations programmed. Most applications only need one start time.

Is this hunter controller hard to install

XC 800 is one of the easier ones to install and operator friendly. We are going to replace the rest of our controllers with this one because of ease of operations.

We have an xcore installed; it seems to water just 4 areas. how can we determine if it (the xcore) is a 4, 6 or 8 unit?

There will be a sticker with the model number on the inside wall or the wiring compartment. Also, the zone terminals will be numbered, you'll have either 4, 6 or 8 zone terminals. You have to slide down the wiring compartment to view either of these methods. Thank you
