Speedy Stitcher 1125 SEW200-BRK Sewing Awl, One Size

Wonderful compact tool. I had one and couldn’t find it when I decided to add some modifications to my black backpack. Then found the original one from a decade ago. I decided to keep the second since it’s so compact and keep it in a mobile repair kit with extra fabric for patching. Keep it all in a small pouch and add it when off doing crazy stuff that a now old man would do like going to a coffee shop or shopping at a consignment store. You know, those dangerous activities where my gear can be injured! It is easy to use but be careful stabbing yourself when working with thick material. No joke.

There is a limit of 5 stars for a product, but yours deserves a 6 star. It's a beautiful product. Really handy and useful. I've used to repair my wife sandals and I'm going to repair mine too. I wish this this kind of products to repair being more popular. I hope that you continue doing this useful products to challenge our imagination.

I bought this to stitch my vinyl window cover into my convertible top. The needle was a bit large. However I was able to easily get through the thick materials and thread the yarn throughout the layers with no problem. Took a while to get used to how to cross stitch correctly however once I get the hang of it, it did the job and I saved myself $300. In fact I lost the needle and a small space and cannot retrieve but I'm glad it came with the backup slightly curved needle and I was able to finish the job.

This tool was to replace one I got while in the Navy, 40+ years ago. The original never wore out, I just lent it to someone and it never came back. The quality of the new one is 90% as good as the original, with some of the metal parts simply being a smidgen lighter weight but which I believe will last just fine. For me, this is a tool I might go a year or two between uses but then use 2-3 times in a single week... that's just how your odd jobs come along sometimes. You can really make a nice and quality repair to a host of different products with this tool and if you ever run out of thread in the middle of a project, just get some dental floss and finish the job, the stitcher works just fine with floss as a replacement until you can buy another spool of waxed string. Good tool at a fair price, anyone can use it and with a little practice get very good results with one. Watch a you tube video if your trying yours for the first time and the instruction manual seems confusing.

It works! I was able to stitch my spring clips back on to my trampoline pad. It’s a bit pricey, but it does make stitching easy.

Purchase this to repair a tear in a caravan awning. The awl is fantastic and has save me a load of money in having to send the awning away for repair. It works like a charm and is very simple to use, providing strong stitches that will last a long time. Amazing simplicity at its best. Please note the standard needle and thread are a little on the thick side so I would suggest purchasing the additional thin needle and thread for thinner fabrics and lighter work such as tents etc. Awesome product and well worth the money.
