Out ranks all the expensive brands with perfect padding!
I'm a long distance bike rider ( 50-150mi/ day) I have tried SEVERAL different/expensive brands of bike shorts to find the right padding on the inside to prevent chafing that appears to set in for me after the 80th mile. It seems many bike pads have too much padding with too stiff of an edge seam with the wrong type of stitching which contributes to the chafing. Just wore these last weekend for the 187.6 mile ride from Seattle to Vancouver Canada and these pants did me well! I LOVE the width of the pad and the fact that's not too thick . It has a very soft single stitch which is exactly what I've been looking for and it gave me absolutely no issues.I also like the thickness of the Lycra and the overall fit. I've always been more comfortable in "capri length" for biking does my knee swell up due to arthritis and I'm kind of self-conscious about them. The bottom of these have a nice soft band/hem so you can comfortably roll them up one or two times without them feeling too tight on a hot day. I'm so THANKFUL to have found this brand I will not by any other!!!!!

fit as expected with new(?) sizing
Let me start off with saying that I'm new to cycling, and this is the first and only padded tights I've ever tried so far.I've read most of the reviews about how small they run but decided to give it a try anyways with my true size. I actually took the risk because in most of the older comments the reviewers referred to the size as "small", "medium", "large", etc. without saying anything about the weight and height. I assumed that the seller changed the sizing label from S, M, L to weight/height. I'm 5'6" and around 130 lbs (pear-shaped) and I ordered the size: weight: 121-132 lbs, height: 5'5-5'7 ft. They fit perfectly! Yes, they are reasonably tight, but not so much that they'd feel uncomfortable. I can freely move my legs in them. The fabric does not feel cheap and the padding is comfortable. Since I'm just a newbie, I did not want to spend a fortune on cycling clothing and I'm glad I chose this one as it was very affordable. It made a HUGE difference when I started wearing these to save my sour butt for 2+ hour cycling.I'd recommend them to everyone.

worth it for shorter rides
i have been biking for 25 yrs, and i always buy expensive biking pants, as they must meet my criteria for comfort and durability. this year i decided to try amazon's far less expensive options, and i am going to review based on my criteria. i followed the size chart and originally purchased a medium, although i always wear a small or extra small in terry, pearl, castelli. they were too big, no compression and the waist didn't stay up. i replaced them with a small and the size is better, overall. i like the length and i like the calf grips - they are soft, they stay put, no digging in, or riding up. the overall length of the capris is a bit long, but i like it. i can push them up if i want a shorter pant. the waist stays put, also no riding down, no need to pull them up, as i have had to do at times with other pants. the styling is pleasing, nothing see through, the stitching seems pretty well done. i have worn them twice, each ride being about 25 mi, the chamois could be a bit thicker in the front, but i didn't suffer at the end of the ride. i am unsure why the less expensive padded cycling pants are in general not providing good padding in the front, the back is fine, but riding a road bike puts most pressure on the front, and here is where the more expensive pants do much better. so i will use these for shorter rides. i also like a compressive fabric and these are not as compressive i as would like. overall, i am not too disappointed, and i will wear these, which is more than i can say for the other inexpensive ones i got.

Great bike pants!
I bought these pants to wear on my bike rides and they are awesome! The fit is perfect with no weird FUPA that some spandexy shorts/pants can create. The waistband stays in place with no rolldown and the length comes right to my calves with no annoying bunching near my knees. The material is thicker, close in quality to the cycle shorts I purchased from my local bike shop. I love that these actually look cute, too! I haven't had a chance to ride for over 2-3 hours in them yet, but they are definitely comfortable! I don't really have that much butt fat, but the cushioning in these is good enough that even after riding for a while I don't get saddle sore and can easily ride multiple times per week without it hurting. I would definitely love to own more of these.
