I was persuaded to get a set of these types of wheels for another chair. Then I changed chairs which had kind of the standard plastic wheels. I chose these because of the reviews and they work perfect. Glide nicely, are very sturdy, and easy to roll around with no fear of destroying the floor! Very nice wheels--frankly I am still surprised!!

I've lost count of the number of chairs I've purchased over 40+ years for my business and home office use. I don't like office mats, but have found them to be an ugly necessity to protect floors/carpets from the damage done by the cheap wheels provided with most chairs, even expensive ones.
