I did complicated pixel art in the early 2000s, commissions included, and then life moved on. Diamond painting brought all of that back in a way I wasn't expecting — I started with pre-made designs for some evening wind-down time, and now I'm making my own designs again, just on a much larger scale than anything I attempted back then. When you're working on original large-format pieces, you burn through drills fast, and having 80 colors at 40,000 pieces means I can actually build a color library instead of constantly reordering singles. The color range is wide enough to match most custom palettes without too much substitution, and the consistency across colors is solid — the saturation is even and the flat bottoms sit the way they should. Realistically, at 40,000 pieces you're going to find the occasional imperfect drill; I'd estimate 99% are exactly right, which is about as good as you can expect at this quantity. The storage question is on you to solve separately, but the drills themselves are a genuinely good bulk purchase for anyone doing original or large-scale work.

I don't do diamond art but when your grandmother says she needs grey diamonds and you live far away you send her diamond. She mentioned the shipping was quick, huge quantity though I did not verify if there were 5000 and the color was a perfect match to another art piece she was doing.

Got every colour and now I can get organized better. I won’t be out of beads especially when I need one that a project might not include or I run out, it will be my backup extras.
