SYLVANIA H7 (64210) SilverStar zXe GOLD Halogen Headlight Bulb, 2 Bulbs

What a difference. The difference between standard h7 and this bulb is a no brainer. If you care about safety of yourself loved ones and others buy these bulbs NOW! Bought these for my mercedes gla250 and my 2013 bmw 328i my wife and son now feel confident driving at night. There is even an option to have them install for $99 if you are not wanting to change the bulbs yourself. I tried other bulbs from Phillips and Sylvania but these are the absolute best.

Nice bright headlights. They don't look like LED, but they are a bright white and definitely light up more of the road than the previous halogen bulbs I had in. Not as bright as LED but a good substitute if you have a mirrored headlight lamp. I've read it's illegal to put LED lights for head lights in those.

It lights up the road very well.

Lights are bright and project a nearly white light, keyword nearly. At times it looks white and other times you can see the hint of yellow. Don’t expect these to look like HID as they burn at around 3700k; they are bright and light up the road great; however I docked this a star because I feel they are comparable to Sylvania SilverStar Ultra. Yes this is brighter than the silverstar ultra, but the difference in my opinion is negligible; and it’s half the price for the Silverstar. I’d save your money and just go with the silverstar ultra. Same life, comparable brightness, and half the price.

Ok to begin with these are NOT LEDS ... I’m not sure why people are comparing them to to LEDs. These halogens are fantastic and compared to OME halogen fog lights (as pictured) they are great. I didn’t want to go through the process of clearing codes in my BMW by installing LEDs. This are top tier Halogen bulbs. In regards to how long they will last time will tell.

These were great! Until they weren’t. I put these in my GTI in October and by the beginning of February one had burned out. I wore gloves and didn’t touch the bulb on the install so it’s rather frustrating that these bulbs didn’t even make it 5 months. I have two vehicles so I’m not driving the same one every day, and I only have a 25 minute commute so it isn’t exactly a long and arduous trek. I’m very disappointed with these bulbs.

The color is bright white.

I purchased these at the beginning of Feb 2023. Both how now burned out and need replacing. All despite during installation I made sure I was wearing new, latex gloves to prevent any oil from my skin to transfer. Huge disappointment, especially for the cost.

The light emitted is not as bright as xenon light.
