I have the previous model to this, so to save me moving it around the house, I purchased this one. It is cheaper than the first one and has the added large font humidity display, much better.

Value for money: I bought a 16l per hour, at a good price, how long it will last is the unknown, the last one lasted four years before deciding to go dead on me, living in a small flat I need a de humidifier to maintain dry air conditions and no mould. I am very impressed with the liquid capacity of this one, compact size well-designed quite pleased actually it's relatively quiet

There have been issues with a couple of damp patches on the walls and things smelling a little fusty in my small, not very well insulated house. The entire exterior has been rendered, windows, doors and roof all checked and fixed. The house still felt damp, and I was fed up buying the disposable dehumidifier beads. I researched a dehumidifier with plenty of power and good capacity as the house is on three floors with open staircase. First day, I was disappointed with the noise of this dehumidifier as it sounds like a large fan/fridge and vibrates a bit (it is on a tiled floor). The manual is rubbish. If I hadn’t done a full inspection when setting up the unit, I would not have realised the filter (attached in the back) was in a plastic cover! Minor disaster avoided. Initial humidity reading showed 73… very damp. After a of couple days of partial use (roughly 8-12hrs per day), it reads 50. The house feels drier, warmer and it smells better! No idea re consumption as yet, but don’t really care as long as it does the job of reducing moisture in my house and hopefully dry out the interior walls. Downside is the noise. On a positive, it has helped me dry clothes indoors when it is cold and wet outside.

Very good product, nice clean modern looking. Collects the water well, plenty of functions although I haven’t used them all yet. only ‘con’ is that the drawer is a bit stiff to remove the water

I honestly cannot fault this at all. We struggle with a lot of condensation on windows and damp in certain rooms, and we don't want it to become a bigger problem, so needed a solution. We were previously using a smaller dehumidifier with a smaller capacity (1L), but this one has a huge 5.5L capacity. It's quite compact and also lighter than I expected, but does a wonderful job. It has a humidity display, and plenty of features, such as a timer and a sleep mode. We use it in our upstairs bedroom, and it went from 80% humidity to just under 50% in a few short hours. It has remained consistent like that since we've used it, with it going up slightly when it rains or the window condenses due to the heating being on, but it always manages to get it back down again quickly. Because it has such a large tank, it means that you don't have to empty it as often. Haven't tested other features, but this is a really great product, perfect for our needs, and as I mentioned earlier, I can't fault this. The dehumidifying effect is impressive. During the rainy season, the humidity in the home is often up to 80% or more, making it difficult to dry clothes and furniture starts to show mould spots. But since the use of this dehumidifier, in just a few hours, the indoor humidity quickly dropped to a comfortable zone, clothing and indoor items can be quickly dried, effectively preventing the growth of mould, so that I said goodbye to the trouble brought about by humidity. Its powerful dehumidifying ability keeps the room dry and pleasant even in the face of persistent rainy weather. In terms of noise control, this dehumidifier does a pretty good job. Even when running at night, its noise level is extremely low and hardly disturbs the rest of the family members, which is definitely a huge plus for me who pursues a quiet sleeping environment. Intelligent operation is also one of its highlights. A well designed and assembled dehumidifier unit. It has a compact size for the ability to draw 16 litres per day of water from the air. The tank in the unit holds 5.5 litres. It can be emptied when full. I use the hose option. I put the unit on an elevated off floor box and connect the drain hose to unit. By elevating the unit it can either have the hose drain into a larger water collection container or have the hose go into a bathtub or shower tray for a constant flow. The decrease in humidity reduces the growth of mould, dries clothes faster, and best function of all for me is how it cools the air. I put a dehumidifier in my ensuite with hose in shower tray so it can run all night when I am sleeping. When the weather is too warm for me, I put the unit on HIGH. The more humidity it removes the cooler the breeze blowing from the unit. Like an AirCon without the cost of an AirCon unit. It will not lower the temp in a room to the level of an aircon but it does reduce it sufficiently to be able to Not feel Hot and Sticky when trying to go to sleep each night. Add clothes on a rack in the room and they will dry quicker due to the moisture in air being decreased. It is very new and modern operation so is far more quiet compared to my previous models over the years.
