These cards are useful tools to have in your toolbox, they give clear tips , definitely worth purchasing

think these flash cards are OK but not great. At a price of £20 I can’t whole heartedly endorse them. I will try to explain why. the Cards use the EVOC model. Evaluate, Vision, Obstacle, Creative. This isn’t in my opinion a well known method, there isn’t really anything online or elsewhere to re-enforce this learning style. The cards are quite big, I prefer a pack of cards size that can be slipped in a pocket, a desk drawer etc and therefore can be quickly shuffled and dealt. Whilst each card poses a question, there is no additional content to draw thoughts out or allow you to dive deeper. In a good coaching card I would expect some additional questions or statements to re-enforce learning and let you take an extra step. When I look at coaching cards and tools I would use in a number of ways. I’d use them quickly and randomly myself to provoke thinking, with others as part of a discussion and then more systematically with myself to try and enforce good habit and learning. I only really think that these cards are good for the first use case as the lack of follow on reading on the cards or online is not helpful. Of course there is the £750 teams training course advertised in the pack but at a cost of £20 for these cards I would expect more. After all £20 could get you a selection of great leadership books if you shopped around.
