Bought this particular fan because it is the same brand/model that was originally in my desktop computer. Easy to install, just unscrewed the original and put this in. It still makes whirling/humming noise, but will live with that because it's not obnoxiously loud.

This little fan is pretty impressive
I just finished building my parents a PC. Up until now, they have been using one that was built in 2006. It hasn't been touched since.Out of curiosity, I hooked up the old fan to their new setup. Surprisingly, this thing still carries its own weight! It's been running nonstop for 17 years, and it's still running like a champ.I'll be cleaning it up and placing it below the GPU as a dedicated exhaust fan just for it. I found the happy medium between sound and performance should be around 30% idle, and 80% max. It'll happily run at 100%, but it starts to sound like a jet engine by then.Very impressive little fan.
