Nutrient-Packed Cod Liver with Great Taste and Quality
I recently purchased this cod liver, and Iโm thrilled with the product! The nutritional benefits are what initially drew me inโpacked with omega-3s, vitamin D, and vitamin A, itโs a fantastic supplement for supporting overall health. As someone who values nutrient-dense foods, this cod liver exceeds expectations. The quality is outstanding. Itโs clear this is a well-sourced, carefully processed product. Thereโs no fishy aftertaste or unpleasant odor, which can be a concern with cod liver. Instead, the taste is surprisingly pleasant, making it easy to incorporate into my daily routine. Whether I take it straight or mix it with a small amount of juice, it goes down smoothly. I also appreciate the packaging, which ensures the product stays fresh. If youโre looking for a high-quality cod liver that delivers on nutrition and taste, this is a fantastic choice. Highly recommend!

Very nice product! High in Omega 3 Fatty Acids!
Very nice product! Taste/smells like fresh tuna fish, just an FYI if you're trying it for the first time. I wanted to incorporate more omega 3 fatty acids into my diet for brain health. Made a little pate' using about 1 or 2 Tbsp of cream cheese, some herbs/spice and mixing in a tin of drained cod livers, smashing up and serving it on either a slice of lightly toasted "Everything" sourdough bread or "Mary's Gone Crackers" crackers...either way...very nice delicious treat! It was so yum I over did it and ate 2 tins within 24 hours...developed a bad headache from what I think was too much Vitamin A, which is found in Cod Livers...so be careful! Don't get carried away and over-consume within a short time frame; space it out to maybe tin every couple weeks per adult to prevent possible signs/symptoms of Vitamin A overload...was my bad!

company is good, but I'm no fan of cod liver
It's probably not fair to remove a star just because this tastes the same way cat food smells, only much saltier, but it struck me as quite expensive for the taste. My cans were delivered promptly and undamaged. Another reviewer discussed how it would be a waste of money to buy only one can, so I bought four, because I like the taste of liver. I like and often eat monkfish liver and chicken liver. I'm glad I like liver, since it's also extremely nutritious! I'm not as big a fan of beef and lamb liver, but I can eat and enjoy them with onions. Cod liver, however, I can't eat. It doesn't taste like other types of liver. Even my cat won't eat cod liver, though it smells so much like cat food. I think it's because it's extremely salty. The first can I ate on crackers and then tossed half the can out after my cat also snubbed it. The second can I left soaking in water in my fridge overnight to remove the saltiness, regularly changing out the water. When I tried the meat after 24 hours of this, it had no taste except a hint of salt, so I tossed it out as well. The third can I ate on sourdough bread with orange marmalade jam, then I cut out the codfish liver and just had the jam on the sourdough bread. I tried adding some cod liver deviled eggs, but it was slimy, as was any mayonnaise added to the codfish liver, so I just tossed it. I'd say if you truly must try cod liver, order only one can the first time, to see if you like it. That's not a waste of money.
