Variosan 11893 Universal Shower Tray Feet 530 x 530 mm, steel, crossed, galvanised

Due to concrete floor etc I needed to install a raised shower tray and initially used the legs supplied with the tray in the belief they would do the job - they did not. I could feel the tray (not cheap) flexing in areas I knew there was no direct support. Looking for a solution I stumbled over this and installed it in place of the original arrangement and it is perfect. It is sturdy, spreads the support via the cross bars and when I stand on the shower tray, I no longer feel flexing.

Really strong construction and very sturdy when in position. Only criticism was that I think it should cover a larger area of support. Used on a 760 x 760 tray and felt that the outside edges of the tray could have been better supported. Used timber supports at edges to make sure tray didn't rock when being used. In hindsight probably could have made a timber plinth for the tray to sit on!!

Excellent item. Really sturdy and easy to install. Solid shower tray now. Good price, well worth the money and delivered quickly.

Just the job!

Unfortunately the quality control of this product that I received was poor. The central steel plate was bent making the cross members uneven which would have damaged my shower tray had I not noticed the fault. Fortunately I had the skills and tools to remedy the situation.
