they are made here in the USA, hand made by coppersmith and there is no beryllium in it so never turn green.

any Himalayan salt will do. This has the trace minerals which are electrolytes.

Normally we say place a liner to protect the copper so we couldn't say how these ingredients would effect the copper. As long as there are no salts it should be fine.

The tub is beautiful. The only thing that I am disappointed with, is the fact that I paid about $100 more than if I had purchased direct from HYMBAS, and that they were unable to cancel my order and reorder through them, for fear of persecution from Amazon. I will be more careful next time. I wish that the company had offered me some kind of compensation, however, as the price difference is so crazy. The tub is well crafted and looks nice.
