I boiled three boxes of these and stuffed them all, then froze 2/3rds of them for Thanksgiving. They worked great, none of the pasta was broken in the mail. These work well if you like Manicotti, but have been reduced to a gluten free diet. Home made came out as good as the frozen version from the Italian deli I used to get. A lot more work though, LOL. Be sure to get a pastry bag, if you never made Manicotti from scratch before. Otherwise filling them takes forever. Being gluten free as a vegetarian, kinda sucks.

I have bought Jovial Fusili pasta, Manicotti and their Lasagna noodles. The lasagna falls apart completely! And that’s after less than 4 minutes of boiling! The other two pasta’s maintain their shape and taste as good as any other pasta. But their lasagna noodles are a disaster!!

I've had a celiac disease diagnoses for 22 years. It's really nice to be able to make manicotti again. I didn't realize that Jovial made these shells until I looked for them here; they're never in the stores. So wonderful to be able to make my favorite pasta dish! I use a piping bag to fill the shells. Just using ricotta cheese mixed with an egg and parsley (just as you would do for ricotta in lasagna).

I was disappointed that the 3-pack arrived beat up with a number of broken manicotti in each one. Other than that, the manicotti is a great shape and size for filling. Per the recipe, I pre-boiled for 4 minutes before filling. It was a nice firm al dente and easy to fill. Again per the recipe, I added sauce, spaced two noodles apart, more sauce, covered and baked. It looked and tasted perfect but the noodles were over cooked and a bit mushy. I really like these noodles for their flavor and ease of preparation but next time I will reduce the baking time by 10-15 minutes, if that doesn’t work, I’ll try not pre-cooking the noodles. Hopefully the next shipment will arrived more intact.

I have ordered these before and some came broken. This time one whole box is broken and you can't return them because it is food. I wont be ordering them again. So sadI was able to make 2 small dishes It cane out yummy so sad so many where broken

while it may look like a secure box, there were too many broken manicotti shells and it made me open 2 boxes to get the number I needed. not a good value for what you get.

Ordered this to cater to a family member with celiac. Followed the directions on the box, stuffed the manicotti, sauced and baked. One word…delicious. Could not tell the difference. The next surprise was leftovers two days later. The pasta held up perfect for the re-heat. Great product all around.When I read the reviews prior to ordering, I saw that a common complaint was the pasta arriving broken. When I received my order I was surprised to see only one airbag in the box with the pasta. However, not one tube was broken. So maybe it’s a hit or miss problem.
