This is a great combiner box. I didn't really need it because I had harnesses, but I liked the ease of connectivity, the fact that you can shut the breaker off, and the added lightning protection. Well worth the price.

Circuit Breaker shows RED when On, Green when TRIPPED! This is counter intuitive if you worked with circuit breakers in the U.S.A. Normally your house circuit breaker is RED when it is tripped = disconnected. Green when working. They should fix this in my opinion for boxes sold in U.S. Not sure if colors are different in other countries. Beyond that: check each wired / screwed in is a tight connection when you received the product. Some reviews complained of loose wires every so often. Easy FIX. I would not use this unit on a roof mounted setup BUT is great for ground mounted solar racks. Mount out of direct sunlight if possible. Mount close to panels (saving length of wire runs) and combining panels. I purchased unit in 2020 and they may have updated color issue. Has been working well. It would be nice if they included a owners manual too. Hope this helps you when deciding or using device.

Works great, I have 6 x 350watt panels. I connected in 3s so overall I'm using two connections today each one no more than 10amps.

This box was higher quality than I really expected. Nicely built, quick delivery and easy setup.

Item arrived in unusable condition. The surge protector was broken out and would not stay in place on the din rail. Wires disconnected. Metal clips loose inside. Mounting bracket missing. We returned it.Update:Judging by the replacement from Amazon that arrived today, I was sent a used/damaged unit from the warehouse. The first combiner arrived in a sealed plastic bag tossed into a large box with some wrinkled paper. No instructions/paperwork. The replacement arrived in a proper box that was shipped in another box. Paperwork is there and this is obviously a new unit. The circuit breaker is cracked when the screw that holds the wiring was tightened.These definitely quality issues. My advice would be to purchase a better product.

I have 8x 400W panels. Connected 4 in serial and the other 4. Than the box parallel connected me the array!It has made everything safe. Good quality. (Please reverse red -on, green -off if possible.) It has speed up my solar setup time 100 times. Recommend it to any electrical projects as long as it fits your needs. I'm a very happy customer!

the box itself was in good condition however it came with no fuses and no instruction manual.

Ordered this product in Jan 2020 for a solar PV project. In reading the description and reviews it looked perfect for my project. Appears well designed and constructed.Come March I stated installing my PV system on our RV. And in reading the instruction sheet, I was totally surprised by item #1: "In order to ensure the normal use and service life of the PV combiner box, please try to a avoid installing it in areas with direct sunlight, high ambient temperature or excessive humidity."I wish this information had been included in the Amazon product description. Clearly, this product is not designed for roof installations, regardless of the ad statements and fancy photos. But where else would you install a PV combiner??So, while I am impressed with its construction, I now have a $130 brick that I can't use. Hence, my two-star rating. Seems like the installation sheet or the manufacture's "recommendation" should be made available online in the Amazon product ad as I am now doing.
