Local locksmith cut the keys to fit for , $2. Work. Great. Saved a lot of money

These worked perfect and a lot cheaper than a dealership.
Had theses cut at my local hardware store and programmed them myself in 5 minutes per the instructions on the Vurkcy website and they both worked perfectly.

Would not program on 2001 Ford Ranger
Would not program on a 2001 Ford Ranger. Tried both keys, multiple times, and the truck did not recognize a compatible transponder chip. Like others have mentioned, it seems a bit hit or miss on if the key you get is compatible with the list they provide. Some work, some don't. There IS a way to use something like FORScan to see if the transponder key is compatible before getting it cut - and I would highly recommend that before paying the money to have the key cut, only to realize the key will not work.

Blank key is fine havenโt able to program
Key blank was perfect,but doing diy programming the chip is another issue, I cut key works perfectly for door locks will not keep vehicle running
