These ISOtunes Sport ADVANCE BT 2.0 are excellent for shooting practice and range use. The noise reduction works perfectly, protecting my hearing without blocking important sounds. The Bluetooth connection is stable, and the sound quality for music or calls is surprisingly clear. They are comfortable to wear for long periods, stay securely in place, and the battery life is great. I also appreciate how easy they are to use and how durable they feel. Definitely worth the price if you want reliable hearing protection with the convenience of Bluetooth. Highly recommended.

This ear pro wins in all the right places. I have a hard time with ear buds, but Isotunes nailed this one. Lightweight, great retention, comfortable, and good hearing protection. Sound quality for music is actually pretty good, and with the ambient sound turned up a couple clicks I forget I'm wearing them, even at the range. A little staticky with wind, but not enough to be bothersome. I tried a couple other types and these are the only ones I don't have any complaints with. Would buy again.

There will be a negative… AND BTW, these are Shooting ear protection ear buds, NOT FOR EVERY DAY NOISE CANCELLING WHILE ON A SUBWAY OR BUSS OR SOME <amazon censorship>!! ITS FOR <amazon censorship>! PEW, PEW! OKAY?!!!! I’ve used a lot of BT in-ear headphones (non-shooting) and, omg, she’s the best on/off voice EVER… clear, audio is great, gets me that extra ‘motivation’ arriving at the range when I turn these on (I get <amazon censorship>)! BT music is also awesome while still hearing the RO and <amazon censorship> nearby. I’ve used these about 12 range trips (4-6 hours each, pistols and 556) and have had to charge them once in between. Great battery life so far! The foam inserts are a bit of a pain to get in while managing the ear loop but once in, they’re pretty solid. Bluetooth connectivity is easy and sound quality is great. A major annoyance is when someone, during cease fire, is trying to talk to me and I’m listening to music… see the ‘Negative’ below. But the most outstanding part, Oscar Winning (imo), BEST ON/OFF voice of all time! It’s just sweet, butter, confident, playful, direct, clear as day… omg, I <amazon censorship> (don’t tell my wife!) Negative… Buttons, they’re small and odd shaped. I find myself fumbling to find the on/off button (btw, my fav button), and don’t use the pause, sound +- for the music and instead resort to the phone because the buttons <amazon censorship>! The only good set of buttons is +- for outside sound but they don’t’ do much if you’re listing to toons and some annoying person is trying to tell you “...<amazon censorship>.." what..ever!! I’m not following you dude and could care less. Also, since big brother is telling me I need to censor / edit my post (which I'm doing now), I remembered one other negative which I'm taking another star away... the cord. The wire going between each ear but is delicate. I would much rather prefer a stronger cable. So, sound quality is great, BT connectivity is great (even when using a Garmin Xero C1 PRO which is also BT+ radar, no interference)… but buttons suck – which is probably intentional so they can sell you a newer version that addresses this. Minus 1 star for the <amazon censorship> buttons (updated: and another -star for the delicate wire btwn ear buds). I’d buy again though, just for her ON/OFF voice :P.. so in love… pew pew!

These earbuds do exactly what they’re supposed to do. Noise reduction is impressive at the range, and I still feel safe and protected during shooting sessions. At the same time, Bluetooth works smoothly for music and calls, which is a huge plus. They fit comfortably and stay in place even with extended wear. Battery life has been solid for my needs, and the build quality feels durable. Great balance between protection and everyday usability. Highly recommend for shooters who want both safety and convenience.

I bought these to drown out background noise while listening to podcasts while I work, with the ability to talk to people when I need to. What I didn't know until I had them is that the "TSC" (ambient noise amplification) defaults to "on". "No big deal" I thought, I can just turn it off each morning. Then I found out that the TSC will turn itself on EVERY time something changes with the bluetooth connection. When I paused and restarted the podcast, TSC on. When my pickup "stole" the bluetooth connection and I switched back, TSC on. When I got a text, TSC on. When I got a Ring alert, TSC on. This design decision made them completely unusable. If they had just made it to default the TSC to it's last state, they would be perfect, super long battery life, plenty loud, great passive noise reduction, comfortable; they even have magnets in them to keep them from flopping around when you have them out. Bottom line, if you want noise REDUCTION, not amplification, look elsewhere.

Works well for shotgun shooting noise reduction. Fairly comforable with the standard buds, and great battery life so far. The audio amplification can be improved, as I almost always listen on 100% volume especially for podcasts.

I bought these specifically for the Tactical Sound Control (TSC) and the promise of being able to listen to music while maintaining situational awareness. While the hardware feels solid and the 26 dB NRR is effective when it works, there is a massive, dangerous flaw in the firmware that makes these a liability for anyone working with loud equipment. The TSC feature is designed to amplify ambient sound, which is great for the range. However, on the ADVANCE BT 2.0, the headset has an "Auto-On" logic that you cannot disable. Even if you manually turn the TSC volume all the way down until it double-beeps (indicating it's muted), any notification or sound from your phone automatically re-activates the TSC at full volume. If you are in the middle of a cut with a table saw, router, or any loud machinery, and you get a text message or a system "click" from your phone, the headset "wakes up" and blasts the sound of your power tools directly into your ears at maximum amplification. I have tried: Muting the TSC on the headset (it resets itself instantly). Lowering the gain (it defaults back to high). Clearing the pairing history and resetting the unit. Nothing stops the software from overriding my safety settings the moment an audio signal is detected. If you are a shooter who never gets phone notifications, these might be fine. But if you're a woodworker, machinist, or anyone using these in a shop environment, stay away. Having your hearing protection decide to "open up" and amplify a planer or grinder because you got an email is a recipe for permanent hearing damage. ISOtunes needs to release a firmware update that respects the user's manual volume settings. Until then, these are going back.

I tried the ISOtunes PRO 3.0 and returned them. Not nearly good enough for my purposes. I replaced them with Sport ADVANCE BT 2.0 Shooting. Much much better!!! They work as advertised. The sound quality, hearing suppression, bluetooth and comfort work very well. I won't be returning these...

Had the previous version of these that were great had some minor annoyance but all those were fixed with this version I highly recommend with the caveat of the provided foam and silicone earplugs did not work well with for me so I had custom moulded ear plugs made to fit I use them at work and the awareness system works great it dose not crackle when things are at the threshold for it to activate and the sound playing from my phone is loud enough that it is not drown out by ambient noise around me and so far Haylie is great I got almost two full work days with them on I may post an update after a range day

They broke after 5 months

Battery is great, you can listen to music for ages. The microphones amplify sound, until there is a sharp noise, then it muffles it. My only complaint is that you can't turn the microphones off, using the earbuds as ear protection, but still able to listen to music. These don't protect against loud, droning noises. *Edit after 1 year* The wire going from the controller to the right hand earbud has broken, so only one side works now. I've submitted a warranty request to get them replaced.
