An amazing product

This ‘camera’ is a joke. It mainly works as an electronic viewing lens and even then half the time it doesn’t work. When you click on the live view often it says there’s an error and you can’t access the live feed. The camera will “record” but then when you click on the recording taken it says there was an issue and give you an option to report the error which does nothing. The battery even with most of the settings off only lasts 2 weeks. Complete waste of money I don’t think this can even classify as a security camera. Returned.

Why did you choose this product over others?:The actual product is very good, well made and very solid. However, it works on 2.5 Ghz WiFi only. I understand why so it can offer the greatest distance from the router. I have Virgin media and that identifies either signal automatically. For this product, try as I might I could not get it to work, it recognised the device OK but it would not fully install onto the WiFi so it constantly showed it was off line. I spoke to Virgin Media technical support and they said it should pick up the 2.5 Ghz signal but it wouldn't. Based on the fact Virgin Media technical conversation I decided to return the camera. Shame really because the product is great just the software WiFi connectivity that let it down. If it had a 5ghz connection I'm sure it would work perfectly.

Battery life very poor lost 60% in 5 days of use with all power saving modes enabled . Also does not connect to live view immediately , keeps buffering and says time out and we have toConnect again . For wireless camera the battery should hold at least 2 weeks minimum . Will be resorting to normal power connected ones . Good camera with the style and appearance but flawed by its battery life.

Ordine arrivato come sempre nei termini, l’istallazione è stata molto semplice, si è subito collegata alla rete Wi-Fi, caricata e messa fuori al balcone, l’ho presa per monitorare le piante quando non ci sono, mi è bastato appoggiarla su uno sportello di metallo. La presa è molto salda. Le immagini sono buone, anche di notte senza luce. Si può attivare la rilevazione di movimenti “umani” e funziona bene. Per il momento, quindi, sono soddisfatta dell’acquisto. Anche esteticamente è molto carina.

I brought this Camera for my home. The set up is super easy, you basically just download the app and follow the instructions to connect. It literally takes less than 5 mins to set it up. The picture quality is superb with crystal clear night vision. The app is great and the motion detection works well. I also loved the magnet design where you can attached to any metal and voila it is done. You do have the option of drilling a hole and attached the base to any wall as well. The only caution is that if you are installing them outside, make sure they are high up and out of reach because the camera can be easily detached from the magnetic base. I love the versatile magnetic functionality, the superb picture quality and the app that comes with this camera.

La telecamera è ben fatta e il supporto magnetico rende molto semplice l'installazione su pareti o supporti metallici senza dover effettuare fori con il trapano, come ad esempio sulla ringhiera del balcone. Tuttavia, ho riscontrato molti difetti che vi elenco:- La durata della batteria all’esterno è solamente di 24 ore. Ho segnalato il problema al centro assistenza, che mi ha risposto che la causa è la temperatura esterna e le impostazioni, ma questa risposta mi sembra poco utile considerando che il prodotto è venduto per l’esterno e dovrebbe registrare in modo continuo.- Le impostazioni sono troppo limitate senza un contratto mensile per il cloud.- L’applicazione si blocca frequentemente, e quando ricevo la notifica di un evento, spesso non si apre la registrazione relativa all’evento notificato.Ho aspettato a scrivere questa recensione perché ho provato anche la telecamera all’interno della casa, ma il risultato non è cambiato molto, la durata della batteria si è leggermente allungata di qualche giorno o di alcuni mesi, ma il problema principale rimane.Per questi motivi, non consiglio l’acquisto di questo prodotto.
