This was easy to install in my Rog Ally after watching a youtube video of someone else installing it. The cutting to the inside back cover was minimal and easy with the provided side cutters. The original connecter from the battery was a little difficult to get off but once that was out this one was a breeze to install. After i installed it and made sure it turned on, i charged it with my OEM charger for around 40 minutes before the battery was at a full charge. I played a cozy steam game for about 4 hours last night on all the battery saver options (so not turbo, not the brightness all the way up, etc) and it took me from 100% down to 72%. I would say that's a huge huge improvement over the OEM battery which wouldn't even last 90 minutes new and was completely tanked and unchargable when i replaced it. My only complaint was the shipping took over a month for them to even send it out, which is some BS. When they did ship it, the item only took 4 days to arrive so i'm guessing the seller just isn't responsive. Overall i would recommend this product to anyone with a ROG but i wouldn't recommend it if you're in a time crunch. Next up i'll be upgrading my m.2 and my backplate with a clear one!

Worked great at first but stopped working a few weeks after purchase.I possibly just got a bad unit but will be replacing it with a different one that has more reviews than this one.

I'm giving it a three-star rating because of the simple fact I have to modify the internal casing of my Asus Rog Ally. This will definitely void your warranty. I recommend you to wait until your warranty is completely over before you replace your battery. If you want a battery for now go for an external battery for now. This battery replacement is for people who are satisfied with their Asus rog Ally. If you haven't bought a rog Ally or an X wait for the Xbox rog Ally x which will come out later 2025 holiday season.

Battery worked well, no issues for charging or starting up.I would recommend following a guide to shield the battery.
