Excellent little bug zapper. Works well and has a stable base, so does not knock over too easily. Best one of this type I have bought. (Hope spare bulbs are available and easy to change.) Other makes that I bought previously were hopeless with regard to stability. Some have criticised the short lead. A bit longer would be good, but the manufacturer recommends placing it a metre from the ground, and it is long enough for that.

This bug zapper works brilliantly! It instantly reduced the number of flies and mosquitoes around our patio, making evenings outside much more enjoyable. It’s easy to set up, quiet, and the UV light is very effective at attracting insects. I was surprised at how many bugs it caught in just the first night. Cleanup is simple thanks to the removable tray. Highly recommend for anyone tired of being bugged all summer!

This is not suitable for UK. It has a US socket and works off a lowet power meaning the moment you plug it makes awful clicking noise like its going to explode. Not even sure why its available in the UK

Fantastic! Kills all the bugs, and also a very stupid moth that got cooked. Used indoors and still going strong after a few months.

I very rarely with you items on Amazon, despite the amount of products I buy on the site, which is a bit cheeky because I use the reviews to decide if I should buy a product! However, I felt I had to review this amazing product, because it for exceeded my expectations and Wanted to let other people know if they were thinking about buying it to just go ahead and do it! For £25 I didn’t really think it was gonna do a great job though it has, as the photo will hopefully prove! This is how many of the little buggers it caught in two weeks! The most satisfying sound is when you hear the zap as it gets that pesky beggar that’s been flying around bothering you! LOL

When plugged in initially it ‘zapped’ many times and still does from time to time, however the only thing in tray is a few tiny flies. It sparked once and there was a little smoke so I can’t leave it on at night. I had left it on at night before this but it still didn’t the average houseflies. The power cord is also quite short so putting it up high, as suggested, is not an option.
