For me this has worked well, yes it has bot ha distinctive taste and smell, reminds me of going to a dentist. The liquid itself does not stain teeth at all. I find it not stinging, to swish around the mouth and then gargle for a few seconds. What is has done is to prevent the occasional gum bleed, even when using a soft brush. My dentist is very happy with my gums, much improved at each check up. I do take a break of a few weeks when I have been using it regularly. Overall I am well impressed. It can help also, I wear a partial denture, from not getting any sore rubbing points or ulcers. This has been great and will always have a place with my oral hygiene.

I used Oraldene in Spain when a wisdom tooth got infected. I didn't think it was sold here so when I saw it I decided to give it a go. I had spent about a year trying anything to solve an infection, gingivitis, and plaque (from Corsodyl to every single variation of Listerine, Colgate with Flouride and Peroxide, The Breath Co.) Out of all of these, Gengigel was the only one that kind of did anything in that my gums looks a little bit better for a few days but then brushing would start drawing blood again. I ordered this, then I used one of those electric plaque removers which I had been using for a year. One use and I could feel something was different. I wasn't just clean, it felt healthy inside my mouth. It just felt like leaving the dentist. Then I rinsed my mouth with it and gargled with it again later that day. And again the next day. It must be a week now and low and behold: - I no longer bleed when brushing my teeth - No plaque build up - No bad breath -- and rarely do I get a dry mouth (I work a physical job; only once after 10 hours of sweaty work and talking with the AC blasting on have I had any resemblance of dry mouth) - My gums look healthier and my teeth look whiter (Corsodyl stains your teeth, this is as effective as an antiseptic--definitely better in my experience--, and does not stain your teeth. The moments after using it your mouth can taste a little bit like you've been given a chemical at the dentist. It is very faint though. It my mind I associate it with cleanliness, but if you don't like it don't worry. After 30 min or so it goes away and definitely goes away with the taste of food and drinks. 10 stars out of 5.
