Clear epoxy resin is a two-component product based on epoxy resins and amine hardeners. The most important properties of this product are: high transparency, excellent mechanical resistance, good chemical and carbonization resistance, high impregnation and strengthening of technical fabrics, long practicability, and shiny and self-leveling surface.
The product can be dyed with any epoxy paint (both with paste and powder) from 0.1% to 2.0%. In addition, it can be thickened with the help of inert substances such as dust and pyrogenic silica. These features make the clear epoxy resin perfect for the following: model building, DIY, artistic creation, glass fiber repairs, protective coatings of exteriors.
Two packs of two-component epoxy system (consisting of 1000 g resin and 600 g hardener) with high performance for film application (1 mm) and casting in thickness up to 2 cm. In addition to the high transparency (water effect) and self-leveling properties, it ensures good mechanical seal of reinforcements and applications with carbon fibre. The product is characterised by low viscosity, which reduces the occurrence of air bubbles after curing and facilitates impregnation.
