Perfect Pump for a 1000 Gl pool. The pumps look great and works great. Using it for a week and the water is crystal clear. It came with all the kits except for the Hose. It just took 5 minutes to install and screw it into deck. The timer works great and shuts off the pump after the desired hours. So far very pleased.

This pump broke within the first two weeks. I believe it was just a faulty one. As soon as I dropped it off at a UPS within that day I already got a note back saying I would be refunded and I was. I just ordered another one. This time I got the Insurance on it. When it worked it had a lot of power. I love the extra features it has that others don’t. Thank you for nice product and timely credit. I’m hoping the next one will last longer

I was skeptical at first because so many people say you have to go with a sand filter but we just weren't in the spot to invest into one at the time. This filter has worked great and it came with the hoses to hook it up. The hoses and connectors alone make this product worth buying since they are so expensive to buy separately. The only negatives were I do not like that you can't shut off the water flow with what it comes with to change out the filter and I have had a hard time getting it to work with a pool vacuum.

Working exceptionally well in my 12’x30” round pool. It came with a filter which was nice. Hooked up and pushed water quickly. Much better flow than the one intex sent either the pool (530gph). Fits existing hoses and looks exactly like the original with a bit taller design and a filter change time color coded relief. When red, change it. Green good, yellow getting there. Easy install.

"INTEX C1000 Cartridge Filter Pump for Above Ground Pools" is an excellent one that my daughter has used together with her INTEX pool installed in her newly purchased home. It is easy to install and performs perfectly in cleaning the water from the pool. This pump functions effectively, and its cartridge filter helps maintain cleanliness without any problems. Moreover, I am happy with the cartridge gauge indicator, which allows monitoring of the filter. Therefore, this device is a perfect addition to the pool and works really well.

The Filter Pump I got with the iPool was (as many reviewers have said)a joke. You could barley feel any water flow in the inlet and outlets of the pool. But thanks to upgrading to the Intex 56637EG, the water flow is more like a real filter pump should be and is very strong. I am a bit confused as to why someone would buy the 56637E without a fault breaker for more money, but to each his/her own. This is a very strong pump, but I have ordered a second as back up. Oh yeah, one more thing, when cleaning the (A) filter, you can actually remove the filter with the pump running, but not with the pump off because when the pump is running, water will only enter at the bottom of the filter well; when the pump is off, pressure from the pool, forces the filter well to fill up. Also, when cleaning the filter, it may look clean (white) but don't let that fool you, as most of the sediment is trapped in the inside folds of the filter where you can't see it; just spray off the filter and out comes brown stuff you would never see by just looking at the filter. Addendum: After running this pump/filter for two seasons (my seasons are about 8 months long as I live in the desert) for an average of 6 to 8 hours a day, I can say this is a very strong pump and I have had no problems with it. Something else I have learned about the filters, is that you don't need a bunch of them, as I have been running off the same filter for the two years, I just unscrew the top as the unit is running, spray off the filter, put it back in, close the lid (not to tight), turn off the power, unscrew the air vent and let all the trapped air out, and then start up the pump again. Addendum 1: I have been using this Pump/Filter for over three years now with NO PROBLEMS. Intex has a new number for this Pump/Filter; it is: 28637EG Addendum 2: This is the start of the 4th year on this pump. I ran the pump for a few days, and I noticed the GFI was tripping, after four or five restarts, the pump impeller started to make an uneven sound, and then it just stopped. I will use the back up pump I have, and have ordered another back up. At $45.00, three years of service is acceptable. I disassembled the bad unit, and the impeller had no damage, so the motor windings (potted) went out. I pulled the impeller and plastic coated magnet (all one unit) out, and anything else I could use for spare parts, and installed the new pump. Also, at minimum before you toss the old unit, clip the extension cord and GFI plug, as the 25ft cord and plug are worth about half what you are spending on the whole pump!

Overall, I’ve been happy with the pump itself, but I wanted to share a solution in case anyone runs into the same issue I did. After about a month, my pump suddenly stopped working. The GFCI plug still had a solid green light, but the pump was completely silent. I initially thought the motor had failed, but that wasn’t the case. We discovered that water had gotten inside the GFCI plug assembly and damaged the electronics, which also caused the built-in timer to stop working. From reading other reviews, I’ve noticed several people mention their pumps randomly quitting after about a month, so I wouldn’t be surprised if some of those failures are actually the GFCI plug and not the pump itself. Our fix was to remove the failed GFCI plug and install a new standard plug. Since the built-in timer was no longer functional, we added an outdoor-rated timer and keep the connection inside a weatherproof electrical box. Important: This should only be done if the outlet you’re plugging into is already GFCI-protected. If your outlet isn’t GFCI-protected, don’t bypass the original GFCI plug. My advice is to protect the plug from the start. Don’t let it sit where rain, splashing pool water, or sprinklers can get to it. Keeping the plug dry may help prevent this issue altogether. The pump itself has worked great, so I’m leaving a good review. I just wanted to share this because it might save someone from replacing an otherwise perfectly good pump or going through the warranty process only to have the same thing happen again.

This pump recycles the water in our 14 ft swimming pool very efficiently, especially with the skimmer attached. The suction allows the skimmer accessory effectively clean the surface water, while the pump filters the rest of the water. Regular, weekly washing of the filter will ensure water stays very clear.

Absolutely CRAP !!!! Not for UK - worked for a brief moment then stopped dead, nothing we have tried will get it working. Sending back for a refund! HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED- do not buy if your in the UK.

After ordering, advised to buy a step down converter. The one I bought wasnt suitable. Needed 2kw and cost 7.5k. Too much expense.
