100% worth it for 95% of people unless you’re in e sports
I went in with high expectations yet somehow my expectations were still blown away. I upgraded from a r3 so I’d definitely suggest this if you’re coming from a r3 but I wouldn’t suggest the r5 if you came from a r3. So definitely one of the best options on the market and if you’re worried about the force feedback not being enough don’t be it’s more than enough for 95% of people

I LOVE THIS THING!
Upgraded from a G920 (Logitech g29 Xbox version) and the difference is NIGHT AND DAY. I can link my drifts no issue now. I can race in my GT3 cars so much better with much more clear feedback and input making my lap times so much faster. Also rally racing has a new meaning to me! It’s like learning to race all over again. I love this and my only regret is not spending more on a R21 or something more insane based on how amazing this experience is. Moza pithouse is super easy to use and allows you to setup custom maps and settings for specific games, which is a huge W in my book.

Very Realistic
Been using this on my sim setup for a few months ago and have absolutely nothing bad to say about it. It takes some dialing in on your settings which takes a while but once that’s done, it’s very lifelike.

Shifting doesn’t always register.
Using with the esx wheel. Bought this as an upgrade from the R3. I didn’t change anything other than from the R3 to the R9 and have issues where it doesn’t register a shift. I updated firmware to the latest and no improvements. It works fine 98% of the time but it’s a little bit frustrating. Read some comments online and it sounds like it’s a known issue with the R9.
