This Vital Peak artichoke supplement is a healthy way to help keep things on the level in your gut. The intent of this supplement is to help with digestive processes and liver health. For the latter, long-term effects on my liver would need to be evaluated, though certain studies show that the ingredients here do support such things. For digestive support, after a couple weeks, I've noticed an improvement in my overall gut feeling. Easier mornings, perhaps better sleep after dinner. This is a more immediate and effective result of which I'm quite pleased. The ingredients listed also seem nice and natural, to the larger extent. They lack the random fillers and extra vitamins that my daily multi-vitamin contains, which I like...no need to double things. The capsules are larger than some vitamins, but the gel coating makes them easy to swallow with a chug of water. Altogether, I'm happy to give this bottle a try. I'll have to think hard about long-term use, though, because the price is a bit steep at $20 per bottle.

Heating the leaves yields cynarin, which is claimed to detoxify heavy metals in the human liver. My research leads me to believe that a good artichoke supplement is preferable in that respect to steaming or roasting the flower buds of this thistle plant. This product does not mention third-party testing, which I rely on to verify that it contains what it claims. I did not have any digestion problems, and it is easy to swallow, but I cannot verify its economic value due to a lack of third-party testing.

This Vital Peak brand Artichoke supplement contains 500mg of Artichoke Leaf extract per 1 capsule serving and there are 30 capsules per bottle. The gelcaps are flavorless and easy to swallow. Artichoke Leaf extract is believed to offer liver health support, increased focus and energy, and digestive support. Since I have been taking this supplement I cannot say that I am aware of any effect on my liver or focus but I believe I have noticed a positive effect on my digestion. The reason I gave it four stars is the label states this supplement is manufactured in the USA with US and foreign ingredients, but they don't say which foreign country, and its potency and quality do not seem to have been verified by a third party. Even so, overall I like this supplement and would order it again.

I have been taking the Vital Peak Artichoke Supplement for about 3 weeks, and I can feel the difference in my body. I am not as tired as I was before I began taking it.

With all supplements, they work slowly. I have 90 day supply. So, we shall see then.
