Bell'O CW342 65" TV Stand for TVs up to 73", Espresso

This is a strikingly beautiful TV stand at its price point. Much of its good looks comes from the curved wood panels flanking both sides of the stand. The materials and construction of the stand are also excellent.It is quite strightforward to assemble the stand (the supplied instructions are pretty clear) even if you have to do it alone, although having a second person to assist you would obviously make it easier. I assembled the stand all by myself in about 3 hours. One does have to pay close attention to proper alignment of all the individual parts every step along the way to avoid not being able to fit the top glass shelf properly on the stand at the end of the assembling process. In my case, I was fortunate to be able to (just barely) fit the top glass shelf into its designated slots without having to unscrew everything and start all over.The top glass shelf provides 65" width of space and can hold up to 125 lbs. of weight, which is ideal for a 70 inch flat screen TV. I think it can even accomodate an 80 inch TV without harming the overall look too much (with an 80 inch, the sides of the TV would probably stick out a little bit from both sides of the stand), as long as the weight maximum is not exceeded.I would highly recommend this stand to anyone who desires an elegant modern European look at a reasonable price.

Solid, sturdy, easy to assemble. Contrary to some reviews the instructions are very simple and straightforward. There are about 7 or 8 steps, each step has a diagram that makes sense accompanied by two or three sentences on what to do. The parts are individually packaged and labeled, the packets could be better designed but if you're careful you can keep the parts separate and organized. I've read some reviewers say they assembled it alone and while it can be done it would be a big PITA as you really need someone to help leverage on a few of the steps. All parts were included, there were no leftover parts. No tools were needed, an allen wrench that doubles as a phillips head was included and did the job. Unfortunately only two screws were phillips head so having to use the allen wrench was a bit tedious. The only problem I had was the final assembly step attaching the top shelf to the stand as the screws were shorter than ideal and the top shelf had to be squeezed down in order to connect with the screws. Overall the assembly took 1 hour 20 minutes and now my 75" TV sits upon a sturdy foundation. The three glass shelves are thick and solid and give plenty of room for my Blu Ray player, amplifier, receiver box, 3 speakers and TV. I could easily add a few more components if necessary. I like the design and appearance and especially like the 24" height of the top shelf which sits my TV on a nice high perch.

This TV Stand has known manufacturing defects that have been reported by other customers, just read through there horror stories trying to assemble it! The manufacturer has done NOTHING to address these concerns or remedy the manufacturing defects! Apparently the seller does not care either, in spite of all the validated customer complaints! The assembly of the TV Stand fails immediately beginning with Step 1 of the process, and getting replacement parts does not help either. The problem has to be resolved during the manufacturing of the component parts for the TV Stand, until that is done, nothing can fix this problem!

Love the look of this t.v. stand gone are the days of boxy looking stands, so get yourself one of these, oh and it's solid too! The stand comes in a large oblong box, I suggest removing all the parts checking they're all there and then read/look at instructions carefully. Make some room to assemble and I'd suggest assembling the stand close to were you would like it to be placed due to the weight.It takes about an 45 mins to an hour to remove from box and put together on your own (faster with help), DO NOT tighten screws too much till everything is assembled, I tightened screws like a car wheel using opposites till done, you cannot go wrong then. Also some of the polystyrene packing is a bit thin that tends to break off and make a mess. So remember fellas clean up after or you'll be in the dog house with her indoors.The price seems high, but you get what you pay for plus Amazon back all their items so no worries there.Pros: Solidly built, looks great and is well worth the money, get from Amazon they don't mess you about.Cons: Very heavy (this was not unexpected) as it weighs 133 lb or 60.3 kgs. There was also a very tiny area on the metal frame that the enamel coating had rubbed off (in transit), so I used a felt tip to colour it in, but you can't see scratch due to being covered by glass.

I purchased this product mainly off the reviews that were posted here on Amazon. I started to put the TV stand together today and on the very first step broke a connection piece (cam pin into cam lock; cam lock shattered quite easily). Needless to say I am not happy so far with my purchase. I am going to email customer service and will update back here after they contact me.***Update - I contacted customer service and within a week received replacement parts. I was able to assemble the stand and am quite happy with the stand now that it is assembled. It is quite heavy and solid and looks good with a 75" tv on it. Beware of 70"+ tvs that have end stands/feet as opposed to a center stand as my 75" tv has about 1/4' and inch clearance on each side. At this point I upgrade my review to 4 stars.
