I'm not a big fan of mobile phones in general but there is an unwritten law that you must have one. I was drawn to this in the first place because of the brand name, it was well priced and well reviewed. All in all it's a great phone I'm very happy with it. It since updated to android 16 as well as it's own OS. It's nippy and reliable and looks good. I use the fingerprint recognition to log on without problem. I haven't really used the camera for any memorable pics yet but what I've had so far has been with good result. The one thing I didn't like is that you can't add an SD card to expand memory, If I'd known I would have got the 256Gb version. Battery life is pretty standard, I charge it every 2 or 3 days but I don't make a lot of calls. Call quality is very good. I do use it to control smart speakers and such around the house and also dictate notes to Gemini (which is brilliant). I do recommend this phone.

Managed to get this for £229 while on sale as I wanted to dive back into the android ecosystem after being with Apple for the past 8 years thinking this would be a device that I could mess around with and decide if I want an more expensive android soon. Presently surprised with how good the phone is for the price, I find my self using it a lot more than my current iPhone even though it has worse specs. Feels great in hand and looks amazing, the glyph bars on the back are a very neat feature that helps you put the phone down and keep you aware of any important alerts. Kinda gimmicky but it’s helpful to force your self to detach from your phone once in a while Charges decently fast and has good battery life while doing day to day tasks, suffers a bit while gaming and gets hot after a while. But using social media, messaging etc it is very responsive. 5/5, if you can get this phone on sale it’s a must buy. Even at the usual price it’s very very impressive. Yes it’s no where near the top spec wise but the value you get for what you spend is unmatched.

The Nothing 3a is a big phone that has a big all day battery (never got it under 40% in a day). The display is great, and the under screen fingerprint reader works perfectly. The phone comes with a screen protector already fitted, a SIM tool and a cable but no charger. It's really snappy and fast to use. The Nothing OS launcher on top of Android has many neat tricks, features and widgets, plus their own design aesthetic that carries over in to the handset itself. The glyph lights on the back are a bit gimmicky but you can make them do a few useful things. The camera is as good as pretty much any for most pictures and has some nice features like the ability to import your own filters. One thing in particular I've noticed too is the quality of calls over WiFi - really good. This is quite a bargain, especially when stacked up against big name competitors at a similar price. It is large but easy to get used to.

I've used many different Android phones over the years, from Samsung to Google, and I can easily say this phone is the best I've had so far. Near stock Android experience, with a few added touches that just make sense, and a really cool aesthetic skin slapped onto it. The Glyphs are more useful than you'd think, and also look really cool too. Think this phone has made me a Nothing phone user for as long as they keep making them! Battery life can easily last me over 24 hours, and that's from charging to 80%. Phone is snappy and responsive, no issues running any apps or games I throw at it. Speakers are loud, but don't distort audio so sound quality is no issue at all. Bluetooth connection is easy and automatic to already paired devices too! Can't fault the phone in the slightest

The Nothing Phone (3a) is easily one of the best and most unique budget phones out there. Its transparent design looks awesome, the 120 Hz screen is super smooth, and it runs fast and clean on Nothing OS. The main and telephoto cameras take great pics, battery life is solid, and charging’s quick too. It’s not a gaming beast, but for the price, it’s hard to beat this combo of style and performance.

Great phone, works well. Really nice screen. Packed with Ai treats. Phone calls clear and precise. The white colour looks really good. Fingerprint recognition works really well, no complaints. Battery life is excellent. Worth the money. Recommend this product.

An amazing phone. Moved from apple to this and wish I had done it years ago. I can't fault it after having it for two weeks. The camera is good, the screen is lovely and responsive, and the battery lasts a day and a half with quite heavy use. It also charges a lot faster than my old iPhone 12. The glyph lights are also surprisingly useful. Overall, I'm not sure why you need a more expensive phone.

It's a really good phone with a decent camera, battery life is great, the UI is good, I've dropped it a lot of times and it's built good. But there's 1 thing I hate about it and it's the essential key. Why put some stupid ai button on the side of a phone right under the power button. I keep accidentally pressing it and every time, it takes a screenshot even though I have disabled all the ai crap. That's why I rate it a 3/5.

Ich nutze das Nothing Phone (3a) nun seit einiger Zeit als Daily Driver und bin insgesamt sehr positiv überrascht. Für mich ist es eines dieser Geräte, bei denen man merkt, dass sich jemand wirklich Gedanken über das Gesamtpaket gemacht hat. Der Akku ist für mich eines der größten Highlights. Ich komme problemlos auf zwei Tage Nutzung und habe dann oft noch Restladung, obwohl ich um den Akku zu schonen nur bis 70% lade. Das sorgt dafür, dass ich deutlich entspannter mit dem Handy umgehe und nicht ständig ans Laden denken muss. Die Leistung passt absolut. Apps starten schnell, Multitasking läuft flüssig und im Alltag gibt es keinerlei Ruckler. Es fühlt sich durchgehend schnell und stabil an, ohne dass das Gerät unnötig heiß wird. Auch die Kamera gefällt mir sehr gut. Die Bilder wirken natürlich, scharf und ausgewogen – keine übertriebene Nachbearbeitung, sondern einfach schöne Fotos, die im Alltag überzeugen. Ich habe auch einen Vergleich zu meinem S20+ hochgeladen. Das Nothing OS ist für mich ein großer Pluspunkt: sehr clean, übersichtlich und extrem flott. Kaum Bloatware, klare Designsprache und eine angenehm ruhige Nutzererfahrung. Die Essential Apps sind eine nette Ergänzung und fügen sich gut ins System ein, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Das Glyph-Interface ist mehr als nur Spielerei. Ich nutze es tatsächlich öfter als gedacht – z. B. für Benachrichtigungen oder Anrufe – und finde es im Alltag überraschend praktisch und unaufdringlich. Der Essential Space Button ist ebenfalls eine interessante Idee, die ich aktuell allerdings noch nicht wirklich aktiv nutze. Nett zu haben, aber kein Muss. Ich komme vom Samsung Galaxy S20+ und mag die Größe des Nothing Phone (3a) sehr. Es liegt gut in der Hand, ist nicht übertrieben groß und fühlt sich angenehm ausgewogen an. Insgesamt habe ich gemerkt, dass meine Handy-Nutzung tatsächlich etwas zurückgegangen ist – was ich als sehr positiv empfinde. Fazit: Für den Preis ist das Nothing Phone (3a) ein absolutes Top-Gerät. Starker Akku, sauberes und schnelles OS, gute Kamera, sinnvolle Extras und ein eigenständiges Design. Für mich aktuell eines der besten Smartphones in seiner Preisklasse – klare 5 Sterne und eine deutliche Empfehlung.

Estetica top, ottima fotocamera, schermo super fluido e immagini di alta qualità, direi che per il prezzo super competitivo al quale spesso si trova già basta questo per definirlo, ottimo sotto tutti i punti di vista.

Looks good, but screen sensitivity is very bad. Have to close down apps that I'm looking at to swipe down to see notifications, takes 3/4 attempts for screen controls to work. Disappointing.
